Payment for Temporary Appointment. When an employee temporarily substitutes, or performs the principal duties of a Supervisor, he will be paid at the start rate of the non-union position to which he is transferred. Otherwise, the employee’s salary will remain unchanged. Such employees shall continue to be covered by this Agreement. Temporary non-union assignments cannot exceed six consecutive months unless mutually agreed upon. Temporary assignments will not affect any operators scheduled assignments.

Otherwise, the employee's salary will remain unchanged. Such employees shall continue to be covered by this Agreement. Notice of temporary assignments shall be sent to the Union and posted on all notice boards.
