Pay for Vacation Leave. Employees who are paid on an hourly basis shall receive pay for vacation leave time at their normal hourly rate for eight (8) hours of each normal work day within their vacation periods.

Pay for Vacation Leave. When an employee changes from a work schedule of 75 percent time or more to a work schedule of between 50 to 74 percent time and does not meet the two-year requirement, accumulated vacation leave shall be paid out if the employee has completed 1,040 straight-time hours or proportionate part thereof. If the employee has not completed 1,040 straight-time hours or proportionate part thereof, the accumulated vacation credits are lost. In either case, the hours worked by the employee before the change shall be credited towards the three-year requirement. Any employee with vacation available for use who leaves University employment, or who changes to a work schedule of less than 50 percent time, shall be entitled to be paid for any unused portion of vacation leave, provided the employee has completed 1,040 straight-time paid work hours or proportionate part thereof.
Pay for Vacation Leave. A. All bargaining unit members who, as of the end of the first pay period in November, have at least eighty-eight (88) hours of accumulated leave accrued, shall be paid for accruals in excess of eighty (80) hours up to a maximum of twenty-four (24) hours at their current hourly rate of pay. Such leave paid shall be deducted from the bargaining unit members’ accumulated leave accruals. Said payment shall be included with the first pay in December.
