Minute of Mourning. Each year on April 28th at 11 a.m., employee’s will be allowed to cease work for one minute to remember those persons who have been injured or died in industrial accidents.

Minute of Mourning. In recognition of workers who have been killed in the workplace, the company xxxxxxxx observe a one (1) minute of silence at approximately a.m. and lower any flags upon the property to a position of "halfmast" on the date of April 28th of each year. For the purposes of payment for the holidays outlined in Article employees will be paid their regular rate of pay for the number of straight time hours they would normally work on that day. Article will not apply under the following conditions:

Upon loading at the timber sale area, a log load shall be directly hauled to an approved scaling location, if required to be scaled. Log loads shall not be stored for late delivery without written approval from STATE.

  • Required Meetings or Hearings Whenever any employee is required to appear before the Superintendent or his designee, Board or any committee, member, representative or agent thereof concerning any matter which could adversely affect the continuation of that employee in his office, position, or employment or the salary of any increments pertaining thereto, then he shall be given prior written notice of the reasons for such meetings or interview and shall be entitled to have a representative of the Association present to advise him and represent him during such meetings or interview.
