Shift Smoothing. Follow customer scheduling and procedure. In the last hour of the shift, if people are required to be sent home, the Company will canvass for volunteers to leave early. Employees will not be sent home in this last hour of the shift unless the Assembly Division at Chrysler is sent home, or unless an act of God has prevented HBPO or Chrysler production.
Shift Smoothing. Upon a shift reduction at Chrysler Windsor Assembly for a temporary period of time, Avancez will follow the same shift smoothing schedule Chrysler follows. This schedule will be a rotation of three (3) shifts on to two (2) or one (1) shift. For example if Chrysler reduces it shifts from three (3) to two (2) for a temporary time, they may have Shifts 1 and 2 (Week 1), Shifts 3 and 1 (Week 2), Shifts 2 and 3 (Week 3). The intent would be for Avancez to allow an equal distribution of available hours to all team members. Seniority applies in a permanent reduction of a shift.

  • Shiftwork (A) Where the Employee would have received shift loadings had the Employee not been on leave during the relevant period and such loadings would have entitled the Employee to a greater amount than a loading of 17.5% of the payment under clause 23.1(c), then the shift loadings must be added to the payment under clause 23.1(c)(i) instead of the 17.5% loading. (B) Provided further that if the shift allowance would have entitled the Employee to a lesser amount than the loading of 17.5% then such loading of 17.5% shall be used for the purpose of calculating annual leave loading in lieu of the shift allowance.

  • Clothing Employees after 152 hours employment with the Company will be supplied with: i) Two sets of shorts, overalls or trousers and shirts, or any combination of clothing as agreed between the employees and the Company which shall be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis; ii) Safety boots will be provided on commencement of employment and replaced on a fair wear and tear basis. iii) A jumper, or in the case of employees engaged upon construction work, a bluey jacket, which shall be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis. iv) Where ever possible ‘Australian Made’ protective clothing will be issued.

  • Trunk Group Architecture and Traffic Routing 5.2.1 The Parties shall jointly establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks between CLEC and CBT by which they will jointly provide Tandem-transported Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic from and to CLEC's Customers. 5.2.2 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access and non-translated Toll Free traffic (e.g., 800/888) to allow CLEC’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier that is connected to the CBT access Tandem. 5.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be one-way or two-way trunks, as mutually agreed, connecting an End Office Switch that CLEC utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access Service in the given LATA to an access Tandem Switch CBT utilizes to provide Exchange Access in the LATA.

  • Access Toll Connecting Trunk Group Architecture 9.2.1 If WCS chooses to subtend a Verizon access Tandem, WCS’s NPA/NXX must be assigned by WCS to subtend the same Verizon access Tandem that a Verizon NPA/NXX serving the same Rate Center Area subtends as identified in the LERG. 9.2.2 WCS shall establish Access Toll Connecting Trunks pursuant to applicable access Tariffs by which it will provide Switched Exchange Access Services to Interexchange Carriers to enable such Interexchange Carriers to originate and terminate traffic to and from WCS’s Customers. 9.2.3 The Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be two-way trunks. Such trunks shall connect the End Office WCS utilizes to provide Telephone Exchange Service and Switched Exchange Access to its Customers in a given LATA to the access Tandem(s) Verizon utilizes to provide Exchange Access in such LATA. 9.2.4 Access Toll Connecting Trunks shall be used solely for the transmission and routing of Exchange Access to allow WCS’s Customers to connect to or be connected to the interexchange trunks of any Interexchange Carrier which is connected to a Verizon access Tandem.

  • Sub-Contractors Transfer Agent may, without further consent on the part of Customer, subcontract with other subcontractors for telephone and mailing services as may be required from time to time; provided, however, that the Transfer Agent shall be as fully responsible to the Customer for the acts and omissions of any subcontractor as it is for its own acts and omissions.
