TUITION FEES AND BOOKS. 33.01 The Company recognizes the importance of continuing education, and encourages employees to participate and investigate job-related furtherance of those skills. Employees are invited to approach Management regarding courses of this nature; all requests shall be considered and will not be unreasonably denied. Programs approved will be reimbursed by the Company, to include all necessary books and tuition fees, upon successful completion. It is understood and agreed that reimbursement for any employee pursuant to this Article will not exceed $600.00 in any one (1) calendar year.

It is understood and agreed that reimbursement for any Team Member pursuant to this Article will not exceed $250.00 per course nor will it exceed $500.00 in any one (1) calendar year. In addition to the above, the Company will endeavor to investigate all available additional forms of assistance, financial support, and grants which may be available to an apprentice, and assist the apprentice in making application for such support.

Lake Michigan College is not responsible for monetary costs of the Program and no fees will be charged to Lake Michigan College by Xxxxxxxxx University associated with participation in the Program. Financial Aid Students may apply for financial aid by completing a FAFSA (Federal Application for Free Student Aid (xxx.xxxxx.xx.xxx). Eligibility is determined by federal and state regulations.

This continuing education will meet the technical skill levels related to present or future needs of the Company. The total number of employees in an approved course shall not exceed three (3) per classification per year. Programs approved in writing will be reimbursed by the Company to include any necessary books and tuition fees, upon successful completion. It is understood and agreed that reimbursement of any employee in this Article shall not exceed $350.00 per course nor will it exceed $1,250.00 in any one (1) calendar year. It is understood that this provision is not applicable to CPR and First Aid training courses.
