Management Committee Meeting. If after timely notice by the Union such meeting cannot be held prior to the implementation date because of Management's unavailability, the implementation shall be delayed until such meeting can be held. Rule changes established in emergencies shall be promulgated as soon as possible. MSEA shall have the right to timely grieve the reasonableness of a work rule.

Management Committee Meeting. The Labour/Management Committee shall meet with regard to the matter within 14 calendar days of receiving the Incident Report.

Management Committee Meeting. Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that will be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply. An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for a meeting hereunder will be made in writing prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of grievance or negotiations for the amendment or renewal of this Agreement. The parties agree that a Staff Planning Committee shall be established. The shall be involved in the planning process from the early phases through the final phases, with respect to the development of any restructuring plan which may adversely affect bargaining unit employees. As part of its deliberations, the Committee shall consider possible ways and means of avoiding or minimizing potential adverse affects upon employees of such restructuring. This may include: identifying and proposing possible alternatives to any action that the Employer may propose, taking into account the Employer's financial situation; identifying and seeking possible ways to address the retraining needs of employees; identifying vacant positions with the Employer for which surplus members of the bargaining unit might qualify, or such positions which are currently filled but which are expected to become vacant within a twelve (12) month period. The Committee shall be provided with such information the financial operations of as is reasonably required to carry out its function. The shall be composed of two representatives from each party. Meetings shall normally be held during normal working hours. The Employer shall ensure the continuation of regular earnings of who attend meeting of this Committee during their normal working hours. Meetings of this Committee shall be held quarterly, unless otherwise mutually agreed.

  • Committee Meetings Subject to Article 19.3(1) and unless the directors otherwise provide in the resolution appointing the committee or in any subsequent resolution, with respect to a committee appointed under Articles 19.1 or 19.2:

  • Management Committee The Members shall act collectively through meetings as a "committee of the whole," which is hereby named the "Management Committee." The Management Committee shall conduct its affairs in accordance with the following provisions and the other provisions of this Agreement:

Matters that are properly the subject of an individual grievance will not be discussed at this committee. The Committee will meet quarterly, unless agreed otherwise, at a time and place mutually agreed to provided there is business for their joint consideration. The parties will exchange agenda items at least one (1) week prior to the meeting. The parties further agree the Committee may meet at any time its members mutually agree a meeting should be held. The duties of the Chairperson will be shared by the parties. Copies of the minutes shall be provided to Committee members. The employer agrees to pay for time spent during regular working hours for representatives of the union attending such meetings. The parties may utilize video or teleconferencing services for the purposes of committee members attending committee meetings, where appropriate and available. Neither party can unreasonably deny an initiative to utilize video or teleconferencing services.

  • Joint Committee 1. The Contracting Parties shall establish a Joint Committee (hereinafter referred to as “the Committee”) with a view to accomplishing the objectives of this Agreement. The functions of the Committee shall be:

  • Steering Committee The Project Manager shall set up a Steering Committee for the Project, consisting of representatives from the Department, the Contractor, and any other key organisations whom the project will impact on, to be agreed between the parties. The function of the Steering Committee shall be to review the scope and direction of the Project against its aims and objectives, monitor progress and efficiency, and assess, manage and review expected impact and use of the findings from the Project. The Committee shall meet at times and dates agreed by the parties, or in the absence of agreement, specified by the Department. The Contractor’s representatives on the Steering Committee shall report their views on the progress of the Project to the Steering Committee in writing if requested by the Department. The Contractor’s representatives on the Steering Committee shall attend all meetings of the Steering Committee unless otherwise agreed by the Department.
