Light Duty/Transitional Work after IOD Period. An employee incapable of returning to work beyond the one hundred twenty (120) day IOD period shall use accumulated sick leave or any other accumulated paid leave prior to going on an unpaid leave. Should the employee not have any accumulated paid leave available, the employee may apply for lost wages and benefits through the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. Additionally, the Employer, at its discretion, may require the employee to submit to a fitness for duty exam to ascertain whether or not a light duty/transitional position may be available. Should a fitness for duty exam determine that the employee is capable of performing in a light duty capacity, and the Employer determine that it wishes to offer a light duty position, an offer of light duty may be made to the employee. The light duty assignment will be compensated at one hundred percent (100%) of the employee’s regular hourly rate. It is within the employee’s sole discretion whether or not he wishes to accept the Employer’s offer of light duty. Nothing in this article shall obligate the Employer to offer or create a light duty position for an employee who is unable to return to work after the one hundred twenty (120) day period. This light duty assignment shall end when the employee’s physician certifies that he/she is capable of performing the normal duties of the original position.

  • Normal Work Period The normal work period shall consist of not less than eighty (80) hours of work nor more than 86 hours of work and ten (10) work days within a fourteen (14) consecutive calendar day work period.

  • Transitional Period At the end of the transitional period as defined in Article 10(2) of the Directive, the contracting parties shall cease to apply the withholding/retention tax and revenue sharing provided for in this Agreement and shall apply in respect of the other contracting party the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive. If during the transitional period either of the contracting parties elects to apply the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive it shall no longer apply the withholding/retention tax and the revenue sharing provided for in Article 9 of this Agreement.

  • Transition Period Due to the nature of our purchasing process, the District often requires an existing service provider to continue to provide goods and/or services while the District is in the process of advertising, evaluating, and awarding a contract for the provision of the same goods and/or services in the future. To accommodate this process, the Contractor shall agree to maintain the same terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days after the automatic termination of this Agreement at the end of its term, if requested by the District, as a transition period. In addition, if the Contractor is not the successful bidder for a future solicitation for the same or similar services, he or she shall agree to provide the same goods and/or services provided in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days to allow for an orderly transition to the new provider. The District and the Contractor may mutually agree to a longer transition period.

  • Contract Transition Upon Contract expiration or termination, the Contractor shall ensure a seamless transfer of Contract responsibilities with any subsequent Contractor necessary to transition the Products and services of the Contract. The incumbent Contractor assumes all expenses related to the contract transition.

  • Transition Period LVRT Standard The transition period standard applies to wind generating plants subject to FERC Order 661 that have either: (i) interconnection agreements signed and filed with the Commission, filed with the Commission in unexecuted form, finally executed as conforming agreements, or filed with the Commission as non-conforming agreements between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006, with a scheduled in-service date no later than December 31, 2007, or (ii) wind generating turbines subject to a wind turbine procurement contract executed prior to December 31, 2005, for delivery through 2007.

  • Work Period The normal work period shall consist of forty (40) hours of work within a seven (7) day period or eighty (80) hours of work within a fourteen (14) day period.
