Schedule Changes. Employees’ workweeks and work schedules may be changed with prior notice from the Employer. Overtime-eligible employees shall receive fourteen (14) calendar days’ written notice of a permanent schedule change. Employees shall receive seven (7) calendar days’ notice of a temporary schedule change. A temporary schedule change is defined as lasting thirty (30) days or less. The day notification is given is considered the first day of notice. Adjustments in the hours of work of daily work shifts during a workweek do not constitute a schedule change. The Employer may adjust an overtime-eligible employee’s daily start and/or end time(s) by two (2) hours.

Schedule Changes. (a) If in the course of a posted schedule the Employer changes an Employee’s scheduled days off, the Employee shall be paid at the overtime rate in, accordance with Article 8: Overtime for all hours worked on what would otherwise have been the Employee’s off-duty days, unless 14 days notice of such change has been given. The Employee shall be notified of the change in the schedule both orally and in writing and such change shall be recorded on the Shift schedule.

Schedule Changes. 1. A permanent schedule change is defined as a change lasting over fourteen (14) days. Employees will be notified in writing at least seven (7) days in advance of a permanent work schedule change, including the reason for the change and must receive such notice during working hours. The day notice is received is considered the first day of notice. If an employee does not receive the proper notice, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of overtime pay in addition to the regular rate for each day the notification is delayed.
