Fire Standards i. Fire Department access must, at a minimum, meet the City of Boulder Design and Construction Standard for emergency access concerning road widths, turn-arounds, and turning radius.

Fire Standards. The Lessee shall observe and fulfil to the satisfaction of the Minister all Federal Fire Safety and Protection Standards, as amended from time to time, related to the construction and design of improvements on the demised land, and for greater certainty, but not so as to restrict the generality of the foregoing, the Lessee shall faithfully observe all such standards applicable to electrical wiring and apparatus, the storage and handling of flammable liquids, and the installation of fire protection devises in and on any building constructed on the demised land.
Fire Standards. All system facilities shall conform at least to the standards of the latest edition of the National Electrical Code of the National Board of Fire Underwriters at the time any such facility is installed or replaced. However, nothing shall prohibit more stringent or rigid requirements being imposed on Grantee either by Town through ordinance or through any agreement between Grantee and the electric or telephone company or other suppliers of public utilities.

  • Codes and Standards Under the various sections of the specifications, where reference is made to specific codes or standards governing the installation of specified items, installation shall in all cases be in strict accordance with the referenced codes and standards. Where no reference is made to specific codes or standards, installation shall conform to the generally recognized applicable standards for first-class installation of the specific item to be installed. Contractors are expected to be proficient and skilled in their respective trades and knowledgeable of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the current edition of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) and its referenced technical codes and standards, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and other codes and standards applicable to installations and associated work by its trade and/or that are applicable to the Work.

  • Procurement Standards For projects being managed by the Local Government and on the State highway system or that include state funding, the Local Government must obtain approval from the State for its proposed procurement procedure for the selection of a professional services provider, a contractor for a construction or maintenance project, or a materials provider.
