Work Standards definition

Work Standards. It is the responsibility of the SERVICE PROVIDER to ensure that each worker provided by the Service Provider shall be fully trained and qualified to provide any assigned work. Accordingly, all work provided shall be guaranteed by the Offeror to be performed in in a skillful and competent manner, consistent with the standard generally recognized as being employed by professionals in the same discipline in the State of Texas, and in accordance with all applicable laws, codes, and/or regulations, including those issued by, but not limited to, the City of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ County, Rockwall County, and/or the State of Texas, and/or any applicable Federal laws, codes, and regulations. Neither the Service Provider nor any subcontractors shall solicit work from private citizens or others to be performed in the designated work areas during the term of this agreement. The City reserves the right to require the Service Provider to dismiss or remove from the project any workers as the City sees necessary. Any debris removal vehicles dismissed from the project must have their issued placard removed and destroyed.

Work Standards. The Contractor agrees to execute its respective responsibilities by following and applying at all times the highest professional and technical guidelines and standards. If the State becomes dissatisfied with the work product or the working relationship with those individuals assigned to work on this Contract, the State may request the replacement of any or all such individuals. Contract Confidentiality of State Information: The Contractor understands and agrees that data, materials, and information disclosed to Contractor may contain confidential and protected data; therefore, the Contractor promises and assures that data, material, and information gathered, based upon, or disclosed to the Contractor for the purpose of this contract will not be disclosed to others or discussed with other parties without the prior written consent of the State. Confidentiality of Data, Property Rights in Products, and Copyright Prohibition: The/Contractor further agrees that all information, data, findings, recommendations, proposals, etc., by whatever name described and by whatever form therein secured, developed, written, or produced by the /Contractor in furtherance of this Contract, shall be the property of the State and that the Contractor shall take such action as is necessary under law to preserve such property rights in and of the State while such property is within the control and/or custody of the Contractor. By this contract the Contractor specifically waives and/or releases to the State any cognizable property right in the Contractor to copyright or patent such information, data, findings, recommendations, proposals, etc. Ownership of Documents and Materials: All documents, records, programs, data, film, tape, articles, memos, and other materials developed under this contract will be the property of the State of Indiana. Use of these materials other than related to contract performance by the Contractor without prior written consent of the State is prohibited. During the performance of the services specified, the Contractor shall be responsible for any loss or damage to these materials developed for or supplied by the State and used to develop or assist in the services provided herein while they are in the possession of the /Contractor and any loss or damage thereto shall be restored at the Contractor’s expense. Full, immediate, and unrestricted access to the work product of the Contractor during the term of this contract shall be available to the State.

Examples of Work Standards in a sentence

  • AMS shall not have the right hereunder to reduce, suspend or cease its performance of any Work due to any dispute pending the resolution of that dispute in accordance with Section 12.2, provided that AMS has been fully and timely paid in accordance with the terms hereof (less any hold-back by ISOC of fees as expressly authorized by the terms hereof and as defined in Exhibit B: Work Standards section 1c).

  • Work Standards and Performance The employee will meet with the supervisor to receive assignments and to review completed work as requested, necessary or appropriate.

  • Reasonably promptly following the Equitrans Parties’ inspection of the Installation Work and the Trust Facilities, the Equitrans Parties shall deliver notice in writing to Producer either (i) approving the Installation Work and the Trust Facilities, or (ii) identifying in reasonable detail any failures of the Installation Work and the Trust Facilities to comply with the Work Standards.

  • PCI Standards means the applicable Data Security Standards published by the PCI Security Standards Council.

  • Codes and Standards means all the applicable codes and standards as indicated in the Specification.

  • Quality Standards means the quality standards published by BSI British Standards, the National Standards Body of the United Kingdom, the International Organisation for Standardisation or other reputable or equivalent body, (and their successor bodies) that a skilled and experienced operator in the same type of industry or business sector as the Contractor would reasonably and ordinarily be expected to comply with, and as may be further detailed in the Specification.

  • Safety Standards means all laws, union rules and trade or industry custom or codes of any kind whatsoever, in effect from the date of this Agreement through Final Acceptance of the construction work, pertaining to worker safety and accident prevention applicable to the Project and/or the construction work (including, but not limited to, rules, regulations and standards adopted pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as amended from time to time).

  • Applicable Standards means the requirements and guidelines of NERC, the Applicable Regional Entity, and the Control Area in which the Customer Facility is electrically located; the PJM Manuals; and Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards.
