Eligible Exhibitors. 7. All exhibits and related demonstrations and presentations shall serve the interests of IACP members. Devices that are designed for surreptitious oral or wire interception are not permitted. No live ammunition shall be available in connection with any exhibit. IACP reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any company, product, or service for inclusion in the exhibition.

Eligible Exhibitors. Any firm/company that markets products for or provides services to the fire and rescue industry is eligible to exhibit. The IAFC reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any company, product, promotion or part thereof that in its opinion is not in keeping with the character and purpose of the trade show. Political parties and candidates for local, state or national office are not eligible to exhibit. The IAFC reserves the right to remove or prohibit any exhibit in whole, or in part, or any Exhibitor or representatives, with or without cause. If cause is not given, liability shall not exceed the return to the Exhibitor of the amount of rental unearned at the time of ejection. If an exhibit or Exhibitor is removed for violation of these Rules and Regulations, or for any other stated reason, no return of rental shall be made. No company or industry will be permitted to exhibit or hold any sponsored activity in any of the conference facilities including Convention Center’s designated as part of the conference-housing complex, without the express permission of the IAFC. All exhibitors and meeting attendees are invited to the exhibit floor, any company or attendee who is observed to be soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, in another company’s booth, or in violation of any portion of the IAFC Exhibition Policy, will be asked to leave immediately. Additional penalties may be applied. IAFC recognizes that suit casing may also take the form of commercial activity conducted from a hotel guest room or hospitality suite; a restaurant, club or any other public place of assembly. For the purposes of this policy, suit casing violations may occur at venues other than the exhibition floor and at other events. IAFC’s policy is that they must be informed of any hospitality suites and expressed consent must be received prior to the event. Exhibit Staff Exhibits shall be staffed by technical, qualified individuals who are bona fide company employees or legitimate representatives. Exhibitors must open their exhibit on time each morning and staff it throughout each day until show closing. Exhibit personnel shall wear professional attire consistent with the conference decorum. No person under 16 years of age will be permitted on the floor during move-in or move-out. Eligible Exhibitors. Only Exhibitors offering products, equipment, or services that are related to the interests of cities may obtain exhibit space. Cal Cities reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine the eligibility of any applicant to be an Exhibitor. Cal Cities further reserves the right to decline, prohibit, deny access, or remove any exhibit, which in its sole judgment is contrary to the character, objectives, and best interests of the Expo or the mission of Cal Cities. This reservation includes, but is not limited to, any violation of public policy, rules, regulations, or this Agreement and extends to persons, things, printed matter, products, and conduct.

  • Eligible Population 5.1 Program eligibility is determined by applicable law set forth in Program rules and the requirements established in the Program Policy Manual.

  • Selection Criteria for Awarding Task Order The Government will award to the offeror whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to the Government based upon an integrated assessment using the evaluation criteria. The Government will evaluate proposals against established selection criteria specified in the task order RFP. Generally, the Government's award decision will be based on selection criteria which addresses past performance, technical acceptability, proposal risk and cost. Among other sources, evaluation of past performance may be based on past performance assessments provided by TO Program Managers on individual task orders performed throughout the life of the contract. The order of importance for the factors will be identified in the RFP for the specified task order.

  • Plan Arrangements Eligibility – Claim Types All claim types are eligible to be processed through Inter-Plan Arrangements, as described above, except for all dental benefits, and those prescription drug benefits or vision benefits that may be administered by a third party contracted by us to provide the specific service or services. BlueCard® Program Under the BlueCard® Program, when you receive covered healthcare services within the geographic area served by a Host Blue, BCBSRI will remain responsible for doing what we agreed to in the contract. However, the Host Blue is responsible for contracting with and generally handling all interactions with its participating providers. When you receive covered healthcare services outside our service area and the claim is processed through the BlueCard Program, the amount you pay for covered healthcare services is calculated based on the lower of: • the billed covered charges for your covered services; or • the negotiated price that the Host Blue makes available to BCBSRI. Often, this “negotiated price” will be a simple discount that reflects an actual price that the Host Blue pays to your healthcare provider. Sometimes, it is an estimated price that takes into account special arrangements with your healthcare provider or provider group that may include types of settlements, incentive payments and/or other credits or charges. Occasionally, it may be an average price, based on a discount that results in expected average savings for similar types of healthcare providers after taking into account the same types of transactions as with an estimated price. Estimated pricing and average pricing also take into account adjustments to correct for over- or underestimation of past pricing of claims, as noted above. However, such adjustments will not affect the price we have used for your claim because they will not be applied after a claim has already been paid. Negotiated (non–BlueCard Program) Arrangements With respect to one or more Host Blues, in certain instances, instead of using the BlueCard Program, we may process your claims for covered healthcare services through Negotiated Arrangements for National Accounts. The amount you pay for covered healthcare services under this arrangement will be calculated based on the negotiated price (refer to the description of negotiated price in the BlueCard® Program section above) made available to us by the Host Blue.

  • Leave of Absence for College Committees An employee whose assigned work schedule would prevent her/him from attending meetings of a college committee to which s/he has been elected or appointed, will be granted a leave of absence from her/his regular duties without loss of pay or other entitlements to attend such meeting(s). Where such leave is granted, the employer will replace the employee as necessary. Costs arising from this provision will not be charged against the program area of the participating employee.

  • Benefit Level Two Health Care Network Determination Issues regarding the health care networks for the 2017 insurance year shall be negotiated in accordance with the following procedures:

  • Positions outside the Bargaining Unit (a) An employee may substitute temporarily in a position outside the bargaining unit for up to fifteen (15) months from the date of the assignment. Bargaining unit employees shall be given the first opportunity to fill the resulting vacancy. The employee shall have the right to return to her or his bargaining unit position prior to the expiry of the fifteen (15) month period by giving the Employer six (6) weeks’ notice. Where an employee is backfilling outside of the bargaining unit for purposes of pregnancy and/or parental leave, the period of time will be extended up to nineteen (19) months from the date of the assignment. An employee who remains outside of the bargaining unit beyond the period covered by this article shall lose all seniority. When the employee returns to the bargaining unit, all other employee(s) shall revert to their previous positions. An employee must remain in the bargaining unit for a period of at least three (3) months before transferring out of the bargaining unit again or she or he will lose all seniority held at the time of the subsequent transfer unless the parties agree otherwise.

  • Qualified Service Contracts - Rev Proc. 97-13. A Service Contract is considered to contain termination penalties if the termination limits the Recipient’s right to compete with the Service Provider, requires the Recipient to purchase equipment, goods or services from the Service Provider, or requires the Recipient to pay liquidated damages for cancellation of the Service Contract. Another contract between the Service Provider and the Recipient (for example, a loan or guarantee by the Service Provider) is considered to create a contract termination penalty if that contract contains terms that are not customary or arm’s length that could operate to prevent the Recipient from terminating the Service Contract. A requirement that the Recipient reimburses the Service Provider for ordinary and necessary expenses, or restrictions on the hiring by the Recipient of key personnel of the Service Provider are not treated as contract termination penalties.
