The State of Florida Mentor Protégé Program connects minority-, women-, and service-disabled veteran business enterprises with private corporations for business development mentoring. We strongly encourage firms doing business with the State of Florida to consider this initiative. The State maintains data to establish benchmarks from which to measure supplier diversity in State contracting. Vendors who contract with the State are obligated to provide reasonable information from time to time related to the use of small and minority/women owned businesses. To this end, it is vital that small and minority/women owned business enterprises participate in the State‟s procurement process as both prime contractors and subcontractors under prime contracts. Small and minority/women owned businesses are strongly encouraged to participate.   • Contractor Staff All employees of the Contractor, or of its subcontractors, who perform Project Based IT Consulting Services under the resulting Authorized User Agreement, shall possess the necessary qualifications, training, licenses, and permits as may be required within the jurisdiction where the services specified are to be provided or performed, and shall be legally entitled to work in such jurisdiction. All persons, corporations, or other legal entities that perform Services under the Contract on behalf of Contractor shall, in performing the Services, comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws concerning employment in the United States. The Contractor certifies that its proposal was made without collusion or fraud; that it has not offered or received any kickbacks or inducements from any other offeror, supplier, manufacturer or subcontractor; and that it has not conferred on any public employee having official responsibility for this procurement any payment, loan, subscription, advance, deposit of money, services or anything of more than nominal value, present or promised, unless consideration of substantially equal or greater value was exchanged.
