ETHICS IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING. This Contract incorporates by reference Article 9 of the Arlington County Purchasing Resolution, as well as all state and federal laws related to ethics, conflicts of interest or bribery, including the State and Local Government Conflict of Interests Act (Code of Virginia § 2.2-3100 et seq.), the Virginia Governmental Frauds Act (Code of Virginia § 18.2-498.1 et seq.) and Articles 2 and 3 of Chapter 10 of Title 18.2 of the Code of Virginia, as amended (§ 18.2-438 et seq.). The Contractor certifies that its bid was made without collusion or fraud; that it has not offered or received any kickbacks or inducements from any other offeror, supplier, manufacturer or subcontractor; and that it has not conferred on any public employee having official responsibility for this procurement any payment, loan, subscription, advance, deposit of money, services or anything of more than nominal value, present or promised, unless consideration of substantially equal or greater value was exchanged.
ETHICS IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING. By submitting their proposals, offerors certify that their proposals are made without collusion or fraud and that they have not offered or received any kickbacks or inducements from any other offeror, supplier, manufacturer or subcontractor in connection with their proposal, and that they have not conferred on any public employee having official responsibility for this procurement transaction any payment, loan, subscription, advance, deposit of money, services or anything of more than nominal value, present or promised, unless consideration of substantially equal or greater value was exchanged.
ETHICS IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING. By signing this Contract, Supplier warrants that its assent to this Contract is made without collusion or fraud, and that Supplier has not offered or received any kickbacks or inducements from any other bidder, supplier, manufacturer or subcontractor in connection with their proposal or the terms of this Contract. Further, Supplier warrants that it has not conferred any payment, loan, subscription, advance, deposit of money, services, or anything of more than nominal value, present or promised, on any public employee having official responsibility for this procurement transaction, unless consideration of substantially equal or greater value was exchanged. In addition, Supplier warrants that it will notify VITA if it becomes aware of a potential conflict of interest in the future.
ETHICS IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING. The Contractor understands, states, and certifies that it made its proposal to the RFP without collusion or fraud and that it did not offer or receive any kickbacks or other inducements from any other Contractor, supplier, manufacturer, or Subcontractor in connection with its proposal to the RFP.
ETHICS IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING. This Agreement incorporates by reference any applicable state or federal law related to ethics, conflicts of interest, or bribery, including the Virginia Conflict of Interests Act, the Virginia Governmental Frauds Act, and the Virginia Code. ETHICS IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING. The provisions contained in Article 9 of the Procurement Resolution apply to all APS Purchase Orders. The provisions of Article 9 supplement, but do not supersede, other provisions of law including, but not limited to, the State and Local Government Conflict of Interests Act (Title 2.2, Chapter 31 of the Virginia Code), the Virginia Governmental Frauds Act (Title 18.2, Chapter 12, Article 1.1 of the Virginia Code) and prohibitions against bribery and related offenses (Title 18.2, Chapter 10, Articles 2 and 3 of the Virginia Code). The provisions apply notwithstanding the fact that the conduct described may not constitute a violation of the Virginia Conflict of Interests Act.
ETHICS IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING. The provisions, requirements, and prohibitions as contained in Sections 2.2–4367 through 2.2-4377, of the Va. Code, pertaining to bidders, offerors, contractors, and subcontractors are applicable to this Contract.
ETHICS IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING. Contractor hereby certifies that it has familiarized itself with Article 4 of Title 11 of the Virginia Public Procurement Act, Section 11-72 through 80, Virginia Code Annotated, and that all amounts received by it, pursuant to a contract resulting from this solicitation, are proper and in accordance therewith.
ETHICS IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING. The Consultant hereby certifies that it has familiarized itself with Sections 2.2-4367 through 4377 of the Act (“Ethics in Public Contracting”), and that all amounts received by it and all actions by or on behalf of the Consultant, pursuant to a contract resulting from this solicitation, will be proper and in accordance therewith.
ETHICS IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING. The State reserves the right to reject bids, withdraw an Intent to Award or award, or terminate a contract if a Bidder commits or has committed ethical violations, which include, but are not limited to:
