Crime-Related Child Death and Disappearance Leave. A request for Crime-Related Child Death and Disappearance Leave will be granted in accordance with the Employment Standards Act, 2000, for up to one hundred four (104) weeks with respect to the crime-related death of a child and up to fifty-two (52) weeks with respect to the crime-related disappearance of a child. While on leave the Employer and Employee will continue to pay their respective shares of the benefit and pension premiums in which the Employee is participating during the leave. While on this leave seniority and service will accrue.

An Employee who is on Critically Ill Child Care Leave shall continue to accumulate seniority and service and both the Employer and Employee will continue to pay their respective shares of the benefit and pension premiums in which the Employee is participating during the leave.

  • DEATH AND DISABILITY (a) The Employment Term shall terminate on the date of Employee's death, in which event Employee's Salary, reimbursable expenses and benefits owing to Employee through the date of Employee's death shall be paid to his estate.   • Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment The Board shall provide without cost to the employee’s life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance in the amount of $35,000.

  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage An employee may purchase accidental death and dismemberment coverage that provides principal sum benefits in amounts ranging from five thousand dollars ($5,000) to one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). Payment is made only for accidental bodily injury or death and may vary, depending upon the extent of dismemberment. An employee may also purchase from five thousand dollars ($5,000) to twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) in coverage for his/her spouse, but not in excess of the amount carried by the employee.

  • Group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (a) The Employer will pay 100% of the premiums for the group life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance plans.
