Cost-benefit analysis (CBA. The project promoters have presented that the CBA of the projects is based on the ENTSOG methodology of Energy System Wide Cost Benefits Analysis (ESW-CBA). The integrated ESW-CBA methodology is composed of the TYNDP-Step, providing an overall assessment of European gas system under different level of development of infrastructure and the Project- Specific Step, providing an individual assessment of project impact on the European gas system based on common dataset defined through the Ten-Year Network Development Plan step (TYNDP-Step) and project specific data. The assessment of the project is carried out on the years n, n+5, n+10, n+15 and n+20 (n being the year of analysis), therefore, the period is covering years 2016, 2021, 2026, 2031 and 2036. In calculations of the Economic and Financial Performance Indicators, the extended time horizon is used. This covers the period from the year of the analysis until the 20th full year of operations. In the ESW-CBA three gas demand scenarios are modelled: Grey, Green and Additional. Grey and Green scenarios are from ENTSOG TYNDP 2015 and the Additional scenario is developed by the promoters of the project. The Additional scenario is a more conservative scenario in terms of gas demand in the East-Baltic region taking into account weak gas demand in the past couple of years. An assumption of single entry-exit zone is used in the CBA as this was identified as the most beneficial solution in Finnish-Baltic regional gas market study and an estimate of reaching the single entry-exit zone in 2022 is used. The project promoters have stated that there is still uncertainty about potential regional gas market development, but the CBA has been developed to reflect most realistic assumptions for quantification of benefits from Balticconnector and Estonia-Latvia enhancement projects. The CBA analysis is performed compiling Balticconnector and Estonia-Latvia enhancement PCI’s together, because these projects are closely interlinked and their direct benefits cannot be separated. The project promoters have presented that a number of the benefits from the projects are identified in the CBA and efforts are made to monetise as many benefits as possible. For the purpose of the monetisation part, the project with FID status, and additionally GIPL project, have been considered which has received EU funding and is an integral part of connecting the Baltic States and Finland to the European internal gas markets.

Total investment costs related to the project cluster is estimated to be 233 MEUR with uncertainty margin of +/- 10%. The breakdown of the CAPEX by country is total of 155 MEUR occurring form the Swedish side and total of 78 MEUR occurring from the Finnish side. According to the description above, roughly 67% of the investment costs arise from the Swedish side and 33% from the Finnish side. The project promoters have estimated the maintenance costs for the interconnection to be very small, close to zero. Even though transmission line is divided geographically quite evenly between countries, 198km in Finland and 178km in Sweden, majority of the investment costs arise from the Swedish side and cost per kilometre of the AC-line is significantly greater in Sweden than it is in Finland. The Project promoters have provided information about the factors affecting the disparity in construction costs between hosting countries.   • Risk Analysis The Custodian will provide the Fund with a Risk Analysis with respect to Securities Depositories operating in the countries listed in Appendix B. If the Custodian is unable to provide a Risk Analysis with respect to a particular Securities Depository, it will notify the Fund. If a new Securities Depository commences operation in one of the Appendix B countries, the Custodian will provide the Fund with a Risk Analysis in a reasonably practicable time after such Securities Depository becomes operational. If a new country is added to Appendix B, the Custodian will provide the Fund with a Risk Analysis with respect to each Securities Depository in that country within a reasonably practicable time after the addition of the country to Appendix B.

  • VALUATION SUPPORT AND COMPUTATION ACCOUNTING SERVICES BNY Mellon shall provide the following valuation support and computation accounting services for each Fund: § Journalize investment, capital share and income and expense activities; § Maintain individual ledgers for investment securities; § Maintain historical tax lots for each security; § Corporate action processing as more fully set forth in the SLDs; § Reconcile cash and investment balances of each Fund with the Fund’s custodian or other counterparties as applicable; § Provide a Fund’s investment adviser, as applicable, with the cash balance available for investment purposes at start-of-day and upon request, as agreed by the parties; § Calculate capital gains and losses; § Calculate daily distribution rate per share; § Determine net income; § Obtain security market quotes and currency exchange rates from pricing services approved by a Fund’s investment adviser, or if such quotes are unavailable, then obtain such prices from the Fund’s investment adviser, and in either case, calculate the market value of each Fund’s investments in accordance with the Fund's valuation policies or guidelines; provided, however, that BNY Mellon shall not under any circumstances be under a duty to independently price or value any of the Fund's investments, including securities lending related cash collateral investments (with the exception of the services provided hereunder to Funds utilized for such cash collateral investments), itself or to confirm or validate any information or valuation provided by the investment adviser or any other pricing source, nor shall BNY Mellon have any liability relating to inaccuracies or otherwise with respect to such information or valuations; notwithstanding the foregoing, BNY Mellon shall follow the established procedures and controls to identify exceptions, tolerance breaches, etc. and to research and resolve or escalate any pricing inaccuracies; § Application of the established automated price validation rules against prices received from third party vendors and review of exceptions as identified; § Calculate Net Asset Value in the manner specified in the Fund’s Offering Materials (which, for the service described herein, shall include the Fund’s Net Asset Value error policy); § Calculate Accumulated Unit Values (“AUV”) for select funds as mutually agreed upon between the parties; § Transmit or make available a copy of the daily portfolio valuation to a Fund’s investment adviser; § Calculate yields, portfolio dollar-weighted average maturity and dollar-weighted average life as applicable; and § Calculate portfolio turnover rate for inclusion in the annual and semi-annual shareholder reports. § For money market funds, obtain security market quotes and calculate the market-value Net Asset Value in accordance with the Fund’s valuation policies and guidelines at such times and frequencies as required by regulation and/or instruction from TRP.

  • Sampling and Analysis The sampling and analysis of the coal delivered hereunder shall be performed by Buyer upon delivery of the coal to Buyer’s facility, and the results thereof shall be accepted and used as defining the quality and characteristics of the coal delivered under this Agreement and as the Payment Analysis. All analyses shall be made in Buyer’s laboratory at Buyer’s expense in accordance with ASTM standards where applicable, or industry-accepted standards in other cases. Samples for analyses shall be taken in accordance with ASTM standards or other methods mutually acceptable to both parties. Seller shall transmit its “as loaded” quality analysis to Buyer as soon as possible. Seller’s “as-loaded” quality shall be the Payment Analysis only when Buyer’s sampler and/or scales are inoperable, or if Buyer fails to obtain a sample upon unloading. Seller represents that it is familiar with Buyer’s sampling and analysis practices, and that it finds them to be acceptable. Buyer shall notify Seller in writing of any significant changes in Buyer’s sampling and analysis practices. Any such changes in Buyer’s sampling and analysis practices shall, except for ASTM or industry-accepted changes in practices, provide for no less accuracy than the sampling and analysis practices existing at the time of the execution of this Agreement, unless the Parties otherwise mutually agree. Each sample taken by Buyer shall be divided into four (4) parts and put into airtight containers, properly labeled and sealed. One (1) part shall be used for analysis by Buyer. One (1) part shall be retained by Buyer until thirty (30) days after the sample is taken (“Disposal Date”), and shall be delivered to Seller for analysis if Seller so requests before the Disposal Date. One (1) part (the “Referee Sample”) shall be retained by Buyer until the Disposal Date. Seller shall be given copies of all analyses made by Buyer by the fifth (5th) business day of the month following the month of unloading. In addition, Buyer shall send Seller weekly analyses of coal unloaded at Buyer’s facilities. Seller, on reasonable notice to Buyer, shall have the right to have a representative present to observe the sampling and analyses performed by Buyer, Unless Seller requests an analysis of the Referee Sample before the Disposal Date, Buyer’s analysis shall be used to determine the quality of the coal delivered hereunder and shall be the Payment Analysis. The Monthly Weighted Averages of specifications referenced in §6.1 shall be based on the individual Shipment analyses. If any dispute arises with regard to the analysis of any sample before the Disposal Date for such sample, the Referee Sample retained by Buyer shall be submitted for analysis to an independent commercial testing laboratory (“Independent Lab”) mutually chosen by Buyer and Seller. For each coal quality specification in question, if the analysis of the Independent Lab differs by more than the applicable ASTM reproducibility standards, the Independent Lab results will govern, and the prior analysis shall be disregarded. All testing of the Referee Sample by the Independent Lab shall be at requestor’s expense unless the Independent Lab results differ from the original Payment Analysis for any specification by more than the applicable ASTM reproducibility standards as to that specification.
