Continuous Service Records.. An employee’s continuous service record shall be broken by voluntary resignation, discharge for just cause, and retirement. Continuous service shall be service unbroken by separation from the Employer's service, with the exception of military, Peace Corps, paid leave, holiday, job disability, or family medical leave. Time spent on other types of authorized leave will not count as time of continuous services; except that, employees returning from such leave, or employees who were laid off, shall be entitled to credit for service prior to the leave or layoff for purposes of determining paid leave accrual rate. In the case of a layoff, credit for prior service shall occur only if re-employment is within eighteen (18) months of layoff.

  • Continuous Service The Parties shall continue providing services to each other during the pendency of any dispute resolution procedure, and the Parties shall continue to perform their obligations (including making payments in accordance with Article IV, Section 4) in accordance with this Agreement.
