Civil Service Board. Where the employee cannot arrange alternative schedules with the Bureau of Human Resources, the employee will be allowed to take Civil Service examinations without loss of regular pay for the duration of the time spent in the examination.
Civil Service Board. Disciplinary actions shall be subject to the grievance procedure set forth above and shall not be subject to the jurisdiction of the Civil Service Board.
Civil Service Board. Upon appeal of any discharge, demotion or suspension before the Civil Service Board, any grievance filed under this Section will be withdrawn.
Civil Service Board. Grievances involving classification may be presented to the Civil Service Board. The Civil Service Board shall hold a hearing on such grievance. Its decision, approved by a majority of the Board, shall be final and binding on the Union and Management.
Civil Service Board. It is expressly understood that this article shall not impinge on the powers and duties of the Civil Service Board as provided for in Section 3 of Chapter XXV, Phoenix City Charter and Rule 22, Personnel Rules of the City of Phoenix.
