Campus Closures. (i) Where a Campus is closed due to storms or hazardous conditions, Employees shall not lose salary as a result of such closure. However, such temporary closure shall not be considered a recognized holiday.

Campus Closures. In the event that the District orders the cancellation of a scheduled assignment due to power failure, bomb threat, fire, or other justified cause as determined by management, unit members shall be compensated without any loss in pay, or usage of any accrued leave. Unit members who are required to work from home due to a campus closure shall be provided with any necessary equipment needed to perform their essential job functions and shall not suffer any repercussions from any loss in productivity while working remotely. The parties will meet and negotiate any impacts and effect of any campus closures that extend for periods longer than one month.
Campus Closures. (a) In the event of an unanticipated campus closure, all employees who were scheduled to work on the day of the closure will be paid for their scheduled hours. Employees who had scheduled a vacation day on the day of the unanticipated closure will continue to treat this day as vacation.
Campus Closures. On occasion, circumstances require that an ECC campus be closed due to inclement weather or specific on-site occurrences. Decisions to cancel academic classes shall be made by ECC. For students taking both apprenticeship and academic courses, they should follow the class cancellation decisions made individually by each institution; e.g. if ECC should close due to snow and the JATC is open, the student should not attend his or her ECC class but go to class at the JATC. If ECC academic courses are hosted at the JATC Center in Earth City or the BAC Hall in St. Louis, those classes will follow the closure decisions made by ECC administrators. Payment of funds to the Company and delivery of the Company's Common Stock to the Investor shall occur in accordance with the conditions set forth above and those contained in the Escrow Agreement; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that to the extent the Company has not paid the fees, expenses, and disbursements of the Investor or its Investor's counsel in accordance with Section 12.4, the amount of such fees, expenses, and disbursements may be deducted by the Investor (and shall be paid to the relevant party) from the amount of the Advance with no reduction in the amount of shares of the Company's Common Stock to be delivered on such Advance Date.

  • Emergency School Closing 24.1 If as determined by the Superintendent, circumstances of weather, energy crisis, power failure, lack of water or heat, work stoppage, epidemic or other civil or natural emergencies, including threats or acts of violence, make it impossible or unsafe to open the schools or to keep open a school or schools, then the Superintendent shall act in such emergency situations to preserve and protect the lives and property of pupils and staff personnel. Such absence(s) shall not result in loss of pay or accumulated leave days to the teacher.
