Bumping of Part-time Employees. An employee who elects to bump a part-time employee shall adopt the wages and working conditions of the regular part-time employee who is bumped. A familiarization period of up to two (2) weeks will be afforded in the aforementioned situations.

SPECIALTY Extension of Benefits While an employee is laid off, the Company will provide an extension of medical and group insurance, with the exception of Long Term Disability, benefit coverage for a period of six (6) months and will pay of the costs of the employee's medical and insurance benefits contained in Article for a period of six (6) months. In the event the employee secures alternative employment within this six (6) month extension period, the aforementioned benefits will cease. It is the responsibility of the employee to advise the Company promptly when secures other employment. Re-engagement of Laid-off Employees When full- time vacancies occur, the Company agrees to re-engage in the order of Company seniority former employees who have been laid off for a period not exceeding one

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Permanent Part-Time Employees (1) Pay and benefits will be computed on a prorated monthly or pay period basis, such as one-half (½) monthly or pay period pay for a half-time employee, or pay will be computed on an hourly basis, and pay and benefits will be normally prorated on a pay period, pay status basis. Permanent part-time employees in permanent full-time positions will be treated as permanent part-time for purposes of this Article.

  • Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee is an employee who is engaged to work less than an average of 38 ordinary hours per week and whose hours of work are reasonably predictable.

  • Part-Time Regular Employees District shall maintain, in participation with (tenured) part-time regular faculty, all insurance fringe benefits coverage on the basis applicable to full-time participation in regard to premium payments.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually.
