Attendance of Job Stewards at Grievance Meetings. A Job Xxxxxxx (and/or other Union Representative) will be present at any or all stages of the grievance procedure. The Employer will provide a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours’ notice for any grievance meeting at which a Job Xxxxxxx is required to attend. Where possible, Job Stewards will represent grievors who work similar shifts (eg: day, afternoon or night).

Related to Attendance of Job Stewards at Grievance Meetings

  • Grievance Meetings Where operational requirements permit, and on reasonable notice, the Employer shall grant special leave with pay to an Employee for the purpose of attending grievance meetings with the Employer.

  • Grievance Committee The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee composed of the Chief Xxxxxxx and not more than (as set out in Local Provisions Appendix) employees selected by the Union who have completed their probationary period. A general representative of the Union may be present at any meeting of the Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to deal with complaints or grievances as set out in this Collective Agreement.   • Board Meetings The Superintendent shall attend, and shall be permitted to attend, all meetings of the Board, both public and closed, with the exception of those closed meetings devoted to the consideration of any action or lack of action on the Superintendent's Contract, or the Superintendent's evaluation, or for purposes of resolving conflicts between individual Board members, or when the Board is acting in its capacity as a tribunal. In the event of illness or Board-approved absence, the Superintendent's designee shall attend such meetings.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee.
