ANNUAL SICK LEAVE ALLOTMENT. Employees shall be entitled to annual sick leave as follows: 10+ years — 15 days Employees hired between 7/1/13 and 6/30/16 shall receive 15 sick days per year. Sick leave allotments shall be posted on July 1 of each year. Employees are allowed to accumulate an unlimited amount of sick days.

ANNUAL SICK LEAVE ALLOTMENT. A full-time employee will be entitled to up to one hundred and eight (108) hours of sick leave with full pay per calendar year. An employee shall have the right to carry over into the following year, twelve (12) hours of their unused sick time, non-cumulative and non-cashable, if by virtue of a non-occupational illness or injury the employee is unable to perform their duties and for which the employee is not eligible for benefits under either the Short Term Disability Plan, the Long Term Disability Plan, or the Workplace Safety and Insurance Xxx, 0000, as amended. An employee may use paid sick leave for emergency leave purposes and such time shall be credited as sick leave and as an emergency leave day. Furthermore, an employee may use one (1) paid sick day per year for personal reasons which might not otherwise qualify as emergency leave. Sick leave days used during the waiting period that lead up to an approved STD claim will be credited back at 50%, without any corresponding payroll deduction, provided the full-time employee was in receipt of STD benefits on that claim for a minimum of 14 consecutive days.   • Annual Sick Leave All full-time employees (i.e. hours per week) shall be entitled to twenty (20) days of sick leave per year.   • Sick Leave Benefits Sick leave is an indemnity benefit and not an acquired right. A Nurse who is absent from a scheduled shift on approved sick leave shall only be entitled to sick leave pay if the Nurse is not otherwise receiving pay for that day, and providing the Nurse has sufficient sick leave credits.
