Sick Leave Benefit. Means a sick day(s) that is paid at sixty-six and two thirds (66 2/3) percent of current salary.

Sick Leave Benefit. Each teacher is permitted to use sick leave up to a two-week teaching equivalency (4 teaching units for NAME). One-half of this time may be taken for personal reasons. If as a result of an illness, disability or emergency a teacher needs to use more sick days then are available, he/she may elect to either 1) Take these days unpaid or 2) request that the Board continue to pay his/her salary (as calculated by the Treasurer) from her accrued sick leave balance, if any.
