Public Improvements definition

Public Improvements means only the following improvements: housing facilities; garbage disposal plants; rubbish disposal plants; incinerators; transportation systems, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with those systems; sewage disposal systems, including sanitary sewers, combined sanitary and storm sewers, plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with the collection, treatment, or disposal of sewage or industrial wastes; storm water systems, including storm sewers, plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with the collection, treatment, or disposal of storm water; water supply systems, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with obtaining a water supply, the treatment of water, or the distribution of water; utility systems for supplying light, heat, or power, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with those systems; approved cable television systems, approved cable communication systems, or telephone systems, including plants, works,
Public Improvements means the infrastructure improvements in connection with the Project that will ultimately be dedicated for public service, including, without limitation:
Public Improvements shall include all Improvements intended to be publicly owned and maintained, as defined by the Standards and Specifications.

Examples of Public Improvements in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing or anything herein to the contrary, in the event of a Force Majeure Event and upon Developer’s written notice to the Town, the deadline to complete construction of the Public Improvements will be automatically extended on a day-for-day basis for as long as the Force Majeure Event remains in effect.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Town may, at its discretion and upon written advisement to Developer, be responsible for routine maintenance of the Public Improvements (street sweeping, snow removal, etc.).

  • Once construction begins, Developer shall keep the Town Manager informed by monthly status reports of the progress of the work and a projection of when the Public Improvements will be completed as well as the cost of such Public Improvements.

  • Prior to any development of the Property, Developer shall furnish, at its own expense, all engineering services in connection with construction, installation and improvement (as applicable) of the Public Improvements.

  • The Maintenance Guarantee shall warrant and guarantee all expenses and costs for maintenance, repairs and replacements of the Public Improvements until Final Acceptance.


More Definitions of Public Improvements

Public Improvements means any improvements as defined in Code of Iowa Section 384.95, including but not limited to paving, sidewalks, grass, vegetation, trees, street lights, traffic signals, water mains, sewers, electric transmission lines and equipment related thereto, and in addition public utilities, on Public Property.
Public Improvements shall have that meaning set forth in Article XI of this Agreement.
Public Improvements means improvements on the Project Site that provide a public benefit, including but not limited to utilities, streets, street lights, water and sewer facilities, curb cuts, sidewalks, walkways, parks, dog parks, public art, water features, low impact development, flood and drainage facilities, parking facilities, demolition work, fencing and landscaping paid for in whole or in part from public funds, without regard to location in or outside of the public right of way, and the categories of work included in the definition of Project in this Agreement.
Public Improvements means the facilities, both on- and off-site, to be improved and constructed and dedicated to (and, upon Completion in accordance with this Agreement, accepted by) the City. Public Improvements include streets within the Project Site, sidewalks, bioswales in the public right-of-way, all public utilities within the streets (such as gas, electricity, water and sewer lines but excluding any non-municipal utilities), bicycle lanes and paths in the public right of way, off-site intersection improvements (including but not limited to curbs, medians, signaling, traffic controls devices, signage, and striping), and transit system improvements (including the M-line extension and SFMTA bus stops). The Public Improvements do not include Privately-Owned Community Improvements, including paseos, pedestrian paths within the Project Site, parks and open spaces, bioswales outside of the public right of way, and community or recreation facilities to be built on land owned and retained by Developer.
Public Improvements means, without limitation, the construction, installation, improvement and dedication of public improvements, including, but not limited to public thoroughfares and streets, sanitary sewer facilities, water line facilities, drainage facilities in the public right of way, irrigation structures, if any, that are not exclusively for the benefit of the Development, right-of-way landscaping and irrigation structures, street lighting and signage, and other public facilities and improvements to serve the Development. The Public Improvements include, but are not limited to, the improvements listed on Exhibit B-3, in whatever form they are referenced, that will be dedicated to the Town and the improvements listed on Exhibit C.
Public Improvements shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.
