Notice of Violation definition

Notice of Violation means a written notice prepared by an enforcement official that informs a responsible person of code violations and orders them to take certain steps to correct the violations.
Notice of Violation means a written notice provided in response to an alleged infraction of ss. 254.31 to 254.45, Stats., this chapter, the conditions of a license or an order issued by the department.
Notice of Violation means a written statement of one or more alleged infringements of a legally binding requirement. The notice normally requires the licensee, registrant or other permit holder to provide a written statement describing the following:Corrective steps taken by the licensee, registrant or other permit holder and the results achieved; Corrective steps to be taken to prevent recurrence; andThe projected date for achieving full compliance.   • Revocation or Suspension of Certification Upon recommendation of the Chief Engineer to the certification entity, certification for Supervisor, Certified Foremen, Certified Installers and Certified Designer may be revoked or suspended with the issuance of an Immediate Corrective Action (ICA), Notice of Violation (NOV), or Cease and Desist Order for erosion and sediment control/stormwater related issues.

Notice of Violation or “NOV” means a type of Notice of Alleged Violation under Va. Code § 62.1-44.15.
