Flaming definition

Flaming means engaging in an online argument which includes personal attacks by one or more parties involved in the online discussion.
Flaming is sending verbally abusive messages to other users. Employees are respectful of District technology, the network's resource limits, and network security.
Flaming is a term applied to what people do when they express a strongly held opinion without holding back emotion. As a point of reference, think of those comment threads you’ve read on Facebook or Instagram or YouTube, where one comment can ignite highly emotionally charged responses.
