Double rooms may in some cases be assigned as a single room (outside of DSS needs), subject to availability as determined by the University. Such a room assignment will only be made after (1) submission of a written petition to the Housing Office, Residence Director, and Director of Residence Life, (2) a meeting with Residence Life Staff to discuss the petition, and (3) approval of the petition by the University. Such a room assignment will also result in an additional fee of $1000.00 per semester.
