Xxxxxxxx Employee. An employee who has been employed for a total of at least twelve (12) months as a USM or a State of Maryland employee; and who has worked for at least one thousand and forty (1,040) hours during the twelve (12) month period immediately prior to the beginning date of the leave as a USM or State of Maryland employee. For part-time employees on at least a 50% basis, the minimum number of hours required for eligibility shall be prorated. For convenience, within the text of this policy the term "employee" instead of "eligible employee" shall be used.
Xxxxxxxx Employee. An EMPLOYEE of the COMPANY who has met the eligibility criteria as set forth in Section II. EMPLOYEES of any subsidiary or affiliate of the COMPANY are not Eligible Employees for purposes of this SR Benefit program.   • Xxxxxxxxx Benefits Subject to Section 4.C, Executive shall be entitled to the following Severance Benefits if Executive experiences a Termination under the circumstances described in Section 4.A above:

  • Xxxxxxxxxxx Leave Classified personnel may be granted two (2) days of Xxxxxxxxxxx Leave with pay in the event of the death of the employee’s spouse, parent, step parent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, child, step child, legally adopted child, biological/adoptive parent of child, brother, sister, grandmother, grandfather, or grandchild. After the two (2) days, the employee will be allowed to use accumulated sick leave, personal leave with pay, or personal leave without pay contingent upon approval of immediate supervisor when it is determined the needs of the school can be met. Classified personnel will be allowed to use accumulated sick leave, personal leave with pay, or personal leave without pay, as approved by the immediate supervisor, in the event of the death of the employee’s xxxxxx parent, xxxxxx child, step brother, aunt, uncle, step sister, current spouse’s step parent, current spouse’s xxxxxx parent, current spouse’s grandparent, sister-in-law, brother-in-law.

  • Full-Time Employee A full-time employee shall be an employee who is normally scheduled to work not less than forty (40) hours per week, consisting of five (5) eight (8) hour working days.

  • Full-Time Employment A full-time Employee is one who is engaged to work 38 hours per week or an average of 38 hours per week pursuant to clause 26(a) of the Agreement.

The City agrees that when involuntarily removing or releasing from employment a represented, exempt employee, the Appointing Officer will endeavor to inform the employee at least thirty (30) calendar days before his/her final day of work.   • School Year Employment If an employee is employed on the basis of a school year and such employment contemplates absences from the State payroll during the summer months or vacation periods scheduled by the Appointing Authority which occur during the regular school year, the employee shall nonetheless remain eligible for an Employer Contribution, provided that the employee appears on the regular payroll for at least one (1) working day in the payroll period immediately preceding such absences.

  • An Employee (other than a casual employee) required to attend for jury service during ordinary working hours will be reimbursed by the Company an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid in respect of the employee’s attendance for such jury service and the amount of wage the employee would have received in respect of the ordinary time the employee would have worked had the employee not been on jury service.

  • Regular Part-Time Employee A regular part-time employee is an employee hired to fill a posted part-time position and is regularly pre-scheduled to work.

  • Part-Time Employee Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.
