Xxxxxx Officer. The Officer assigned to the care and maintenance of the Department canine shall receive eight (8) hours of pay at overtime rate each pay period.

Xxxxxx Officer. 1. The canine officer will be reimbursed three and one-half (3.5) hours of overtime a week for daily care and maintenance of the canine. Said payment shall be made based on the officer’s regular hourly rate of pay. This payment may be reduced by working a short shift in lieu of maintenance overtime
Xxxxxx Officer. Individuals assigned, in writing, by the Sheriff or the Chief Probation Officer, as applicable, as Canine Officers shall receive an additional three hundred (300) dollars per biweekly pay period as compensation to care for and attend trainings with the assigned animal. Time spent in monthly trainings shall be paid at straight time.
Xxxxxx Officer. Should the Chief of Police assign an officer to the position of Canine Officer, said officer shall be entitled to 1.25 hours of release time per scheduled 12-hour shift, and 1 hour of release time per scheduled 8-hour shift as total compensation for the care of the canine.
