Work Hours/Year/Overtime. 1. a. Maintenance Worker 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Senior Library Clerk 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Student Records Specialist 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Work hours for any employee presently covered by this agreement as of the signing date of the contract will not be arbitrarily changed to meet temporary fluctuations in workload. Effective upon the signing of this contract, College Administration may implement evening hours one night per week in the following offices during the Fall and Spring semesters: Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar's Office, Student Accounts and Academic Advisement Center provided there is at least two weeksnotice of the needed change in work hours for ESPA employees. Should the scheduling of evening hours become necessary in other areas the administration shall bargain the impact of such scheduling. Staffing will be provided following the procedures outlined below: A list of all department personnel by seniority shall be established and mutually agreed upon by the parties involved. Said list shall be posted each month in a conspicuous place in the department. Said work hours shall be offered to the individual(s) starting at the top of the list and progressing downward for each new assignment. Acceptance or rejection of the assignment moves the individual(s) to the bottom of the list. Should there be no volunteers, the established procedure will be:

  • Work Period; Overtime Pay The work period for overtime computation purposes shall be a seven (7) day period, as defined by the Employer. Nurses working this twelve (12) hour shift schedule shall be paid overtime compensation at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours after the end of the twelve (12) hour shift or for any hours worked beyond forty (40) hours in a seven (7) day period. If a nurse works more than two (2) consecutive hours beyond the end of the twelve (12) hour shift, all overtime hours after fourteen (14) consecutive hours of work for that shift shall be paid at double time (2x).

  • Work Year The full-time work year for all employees employed in EA and ECE job classes shall be a minimum of 194 work days to correspond with the school year calendar.

  • HOURS OF WORK & OVERTIME 9.01 A regular work week shall consist of forty (40) hours worked between Monday and Saturday.

  • Overtime Computation Computation of overtime will be rounded upward to the nearest one-tenth (1/10th) of an hour.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Hours Worked For the purpose of computing the number of hours worked, all time during which an employee is in paid status shall be construed as hours worked.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Year of Service An Employee must complete at least Hours of Service during a Vesting Computation Period to receive credit for a Year of Service under Article V. [Note: The number may not exceed 1,000. If left blank, the requirement is 1,000.]

  • Overtime Pay a) A casual employee shall be entitled to overtime pay in accordance with Article 27.05 in the following circumstances:

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District. Employees who actually work more than forty (40) hours per week will receive overtime pay (time-and-a-half).
