week leave. All employees are entitled to apply for a leave of absence of up to six (6) weeks in duration once per calendar year. Approval of the leave request and the length of the leave will be adjudicated on the basis of merit, compassion, length of service and the operational needs of the store.
week leave. Full-Time Temporary Employees shall be entitled to Reduced Work Week Leave pursuant to Clause on the same basis as Full-Time Regular Employees. Health, Welfare and Benefit Plan Coverage Full-Time Temporary Employees shall be entitled to full coverage and entitlements with respect to all health, welfare and benefit plan provisions, including Pension, of this Agreement on an equal basis with Full-Time Regular Employees except that dental plan coverage shall not apply until after one year of continuous service.
week leave. The parties recognize the importance of employees to have time off with their families Christmas Eve and New Year's eve. In the event that the days fall on week days the centre will close on Christmas Eve Day and close at 1:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve Day. If these days fall on Saturday or Sunday, no compensating time off will be provided during the week. During the Christmas week, December 25 to 31, the day care shall operate with the usual staff/child ratio. If the demand for care does not require all regular staff, then time off with pay shall be equally divided amongst all the staff. Time off and the work schedule shall be jointly determined by the parents and staff.
