Vision for the Future Sample Clauses

Vision for the Future. ‌ The final version of the PoF Reference Model includes a new information model which provides a representation of the archival entities in the context of ForgetIT. This addition has been done in parallel with the design and development of the reference platform and the availability of the prototype deliverables from technical WPs. The final release of the PoF Framework, described in D8.6 [Xxxxx et al., 2016], implements the information model and many of the reference workflows defined in the functional model. The project partners investigated various opportunities to disseminate the model in the digital preservation community and, following the recommendations of the project review- ers, also proposed the PoF Reference Model to different working groups in two xxxx- dardization bodies, namely OASIS and MPEG (ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 29/WG 11). Such activities are still in progress at the moment of writing since the standardization process could not be completed within the limited project lifetime. However, different partners in the consortium are interested in supporting such standardization efforts beyond the end of the project. Concerning PoF model dissemination, further publication opportunities in relevant scientific journals related to digital preservation have been considered by the partners. The submission of long papers describing the model and the ForgetIT approach is planned. We believe that the PoF Reference Model together with the PoF framework as a model implementation, provides a strong basis for implementing and further developing the For- getful approach to preservation. The feedback received at various occasions such as the CeBIT 2015 and CeBIT 2016 sugests that there is actually a strong need for solutions based on the approach, e.g., in the personal preservation setting. 9 References‌ [Afrasiabi Xxx et al., 2014] Afrasiabi Xxx, P., Xxxxxxx, X., and Pa¨ iva¨ xxxxx, T. Vision for the Future. The working structure for the LAA is now operating effectively, and a strong awareness and consensus around our approach has developed across the agencies and sectors in Oldham. We are actively developing our LSP structure, commissioning and performance management around the LAA. For example, we have moved to Local Public Service Board governance arrangements and are establishing streamlined governance and commissioning structures for our five LAA delivery Boards. Key infrastructure milestones have been included within this document and a more detailed Improvement Plan is scheduled for March. The LAA is now entering its implementation phase with a focus on delivery, structure and new ways of working. The LAA will initially concentrate on the strategic alignment (as opposed to pooling) of budget streams, which will enable us to test and ‘bed down’ emerging structures and ways of working. Development of the LAA has accelerated the pace and effectiveness of partnership working in Oldham. We will utilise the LAA to better integrate inter-agency strategic planning, resource deployment and service delivery. Our vision is to streamline the bureaucracy and inefficiencies that are imposed both locally and centrally, so that we can deliver better and more transparent services to the people of Oldham.
