Examples of Reasonable suspicion testing in a sentence
Reasonable suspicion testing for alcohol or controlled substances may be directed by the Employer for any employee when there is reason to suspect that alcohol or controlled substance usage may be adversely affecting the employee’s job performance or that the employee may present a danger to the physical safety of the employee or another.
Reasonable suspicion testing may also be required of any employee in any position when there is a reasonable suspicion of on-duty use or on-duty impairment.
Reasonable suspicion testing may be required of an employee while the employee is performing, just before the employee will perform, or just after the employee has ceased performing safety-sensitive functions.
Reasonable suspicion testing includes a witnessed urine drug test and/or breath alcohol testing.
Reasonable suspicion testing does not require certainty, but mere “hunches” are not sufficient to justify testing.
