Certification in this category must be current with renewal occurring as required by the State Fire Xxxxxxxx. All represented classifications are eligible to qualify. Wildland Certification: 1.0% base pay per month Complete four wildland classes outlined in the AOM 705.00. Certification in this category must be current with renewal occurring as required by the State Fire Xxxxxxxx or the national Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG). Acting Battalion Chief Certification (Captains only) 1.0% base pay per month Complete the Acting Battalion Chief Taskbook and have an Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or other related course study. (Note: The Bachelor’s Degree requirement can be met with an educational plan approved by the Fire Chief.) Fire Captain is the only eligible classification. Technical Rescue Certification. (1) Members who hold Technician Certifications in any of the following technical rescue disciplines (Hazardous Material Technician, Swift Water Technician, Ice Rescue Technician, Confined Space Rescue Technician, Accelerant Detection Canine) and maintain their certification throughout the entire calendar year shall receive additional compensation in that year in the amount of $200.00 per certification up to $400.00 max.
Technical Rescue Certification. For those employees in the unit who receive the certification for Area G equivalency to State Rescue Systems I training or State Rescue Systems I Training. The parties agree that to the extent permitted by law, pay for this certification is special compensation as defined by CalPERS regulations and shall be reported as such to CalPERS pursuant to Title 2 CCR, Section 571(a)(4) as Hazard Premium.

  • AS9100 Certification AS9100 Certification specifies requirements for a quality management system to demonstrate the Contractor’s ability to consistently meet the customer requirements as well as statutory and regulatory requirements for the aerospace industry. An AS9100 Certification is not mandatory; however, Contractors who desire to compete for work within the aerospace industry are encouraged to have AS9100 Certification during the entire term of OASIS SB. The Contractor shall notify the OASIS SB CO, in writing, if there are any changes in the status of their AS9100 Certification and provide the reasons for the change and copies of audits from an AS9100 Certification Body, as applicable. If only part of a Contractor’s organization is AS9100 certified, the Contractor shall make the distinction between which business units or sites and geographic locations have been certified.

  • Exhibit D - Debarment Certification By signing and submitting this Contract, the Contractor is agreeing to abide by the debarment requirements as set out below. • The certification in this clause is a material representation of fact relied upon by County. • The Contractor shall provide immediate written notice to County if at any time the Contractor learns that its certification was erroneous or has become erroneous by reason of changed circumstances. • Contractor certifies that none of its principals, affiliates, agents, representatives or contractors are excluded, disqualified or ineligible for the award of contracts by any Federal agency and Contractor further certifies to the best of its knowledge and belief, that it and its principals: • Are not presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded by any Federal Department or Agency; • Have not been convicted within the preceding three-years of any of the offenses listed in 2 CFR 180.800(a) or had a civil judgment rendered against it for one of those offenses within that time period; • Are not presently indicted for or otherwise criminally or civilly charged by a governmental entity (Federal, State, or Local) with commission of any of the offenses listed in 2 CFR 180.800(a); • Have not had one or more public transactions (Federal, State, or Local) terminated within the preceding three-years for cause or default. • The Contractor agrees by signing this Contract that it will not knowingly enter into any subcontract or covered transaction with a person who is proposed for debarment, debarred, suspended, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from participation in this covered transaction. • Any subcontractor will provide a debarment certification that includes the debarment clause as noted in preceding bullets above, without modification.

  • ISO 9001 Certification The Contractor shall maintain or exceed their ISO 9001 Certification and submit updates, if applicable

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Contractor hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace. The Contractor will give written notice to the State within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Contractor, or an employee of the Contractor in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of contract payments, termination of this Contract and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years. In addition to the provisions of the above paragraph, if the total amount set forth in this Contract is in excess of $25,000.00, the Contractor certifies and agrees that it will provide a drug-free workplace by:

  • Debarment Certification The Contractor, by signature to this Contract, certifies that the Contractor is not presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded by any Federal department or agency from participating in transactions (Debarred). The Contractor also agrees to include the above requirement in any and all Subcontracts into which it enters. The Contractor shall immediately notify DSHS if, during the term of this Contract, Contractor becomes Debarred. DSHS may immediately terminate this Contract by providing Contractor written notice if Contractor becomes Debarred during the term hereof.

  • Management Certifications In addition to the responsibilities set forth in this CIA for all Covered Persons, certain Kindred and RehabCare employees (Certifying Employees) are specifically expected to monitor and oversee activities within their areas of authority and shall annually certify that the applicable RehabCare division is in compliance with applicable Federal health care program requirements and with the obligations of this CIA. These Certifying Employees shall include, at a minimum, the following employees (or their functional equivalents): RehabCare - President, Senior Vice President of Finance, Senior Vice President of Quality, Division Vice President of Clinical Operations, Division Vice President of Clinical Services, Division Senior Vice President of Skilled Rehabilitation Services (SRS), RehabCare and Kindred - Corporate Integrity Agreement Senior Vice Presidents of SRS, Regional Vice Presidents of SRS, and Vice President of Sales & Business Development of SRS, Regional Vice Presidents of SRS; and, Kindred - any Kindred executives who have direct oversight responsibilities for RehabCare including but not limited to the Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. For each Reporting Period, each Certifying Employee shall sign a certification that states: “I have been trained on and understand the compliance requirements and responsibilities as they relate to [insert name of department], an area under my supervision. My job responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regard to the [insert name of department] with all applicable Federal health care program requirements, obligations of the Corporate Integrity Agreement, and Kindred’s policies, and I have taken steps to promote such compliance. To the best of my knowledge, the [insert name of department] of RehabCare is in compliance with all applicable Federal health care program requirements and the obligations of the Corporate Integrity Agreement. I understand that this certification is being provided to and relied upon by the United States.” If any Certifying Employee is unable to provide such a certification, the Certifying Employee shall provide a written explanation of the reasons why he or she is unable to provide the certification outlined above.
