An Associate. Teaching Professor under consideration for a Continuing Appointment must demonstrate that the candidate has met or exceeded the expectations written in the Faculty Evaluation Policy and their Unit Standard, including on criteria related to Teaching performance. Where this is achieved, there is an expectation of Continuing Appointment.
An Associate. Assistant Xxxx shall not normally take a sabbatical during their term. When this requirement results in the deferral of a sabbatical, the provisions of Article 19.3.20(c)(vi) shall apply, except in the case of leave of absence in recognition of administrative service as provided for in Article 19.11.

An Associate. Staff Employee who does not work the full fiscal year shall have exchange leave days prorated. The employee shall have three (3) exchange leave days except: If the employee is hired January 1 or after, the employee shall have two (2) exchange leave days, and if the employee is hired May 1 or after, the employee shall have one (1) exchange leave day.
An Associate. So far as is possible, each provision of this Agreement will be interpreted in such manner as to be effective and valid under applicable law, but if any provision of this Agreement is held to be prohibited by or invalid under applicable law, such provision will be ineffective only to the extent of such prohibition or invalidity, without invalidating the remainder of this Agreement.
