TAA Membership. We represent that, at the time of signing this Lease, we, the management company representing us, or any locator service that procured you is a member in good standing of both the Texas Apartment Association and the affiliated local apartment association for the area where the apartment is located. The member is either an owner/management-company member or an associate member doing business as a locator service (whose name and address must be disclosed on page 8). If not, the follow- ing applies: (A) this Lease is voidable at your option and is unen- forceable by us (except for property damages); and (B) we may not recover past or future rent or other charges. The above remedies also apply if both of the following occur: (1) the Lease is automati- cally renewed on a month-to-month basis more than once after membership in TAA and the local association has lapsed; and (2) neither the owner nor the management company is a member of TAA and the local association during the third automatic renew- al. A signed affidavit from the affiliated local apartment associa- tion attesting to nonmembership when the Lease or renewal was signed will be conclusive evidence of nonmembership. TAA Membership. We represent that, at the time of signing this constitutes notice to or from us. Any person giving a notice under this Lease Contract should retain a copy of the memo, letter, or fax that was given, as well as any fax transmittal verification. Exercising one remedy won't constitute an election or waiver of other remedies. Insurance subrogation is waived by all parties. All remedies are cumulative. This Lease Contract is subordinate to existing and future recorded mortgages, unless the owner's lender chooses otherwise. All Lease Contract obligations must be performed in the county where the dwelling is located. We may deactivate or not install keyless bolting devices on your doors if: (1) you or an occupant in the dwelling is over 55 or disabled, and (2) the requirements of Section 92.153(e) or (f), Texas Property Code are satisfied. SAMPLE Utilities may be used only for normal household purposes and must not be wasted. If your electricity is ever interrupted, you must use only battery-operated lighting.   • Membership The Committee shall include nine (9) members - five (5) representatives from CUPE/SCFP and four (4) representatives from the CTA. Up to two (2) advisors from the Ministry of Education shall act in a resource capacity to the committee. Other persons may attend meetings in order to provide support and resources as mutually agreed. Up to one (1) representative from each of the four (4) employee bargaining agencies at the other education workers tables will be invited to participate on the Committee.

  • COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP 1. Local representatives on committees specifically established by this Collective Agreement shall be appointed by the local.

  • Transfer of Membership Membership shall not be transferred except with the approval and consent of the Board of Managers and in accordance with the Capital Units Transfer System.

  • Annual Membership Fee You agree to pay in advance a nonrefundable annual membership fee shown on page 1, whether or not you use your Card or Credit Card account. The fee will be charged on a periodic statement shortly after you open your Credit Card account and after that in the same month every year. The Association shall not discriminate against, interfere with, restrain or coerce an employee from exercising the right to join or not to join the Association, and will not discriminate against any employee in the administration of this Agreement because of non-membership in the Association.

  • Professional Memberships Each employee is eligible for reimbursement for membership fees or dues paid for the maintenance of a license required to perform employee’s job and for dues paid for membership in one additional job related professional association.

  • Membership Dues Association membership dues, as explicitly approved by the Trustees;

  • Termination of Membership You may terminate your membership by giving us written notice or by withdrawing your minimum required membership share(s), if any, and closing all your accounts. You may be denied services for causing a loss to the Credit Union, or you may be expelled for any reason as allowed by applicable law.

  • Application for Membership No employee shall be subject to any penalties against his application for membership or reinstatement, except as may be provided for in the Constitution and By-Laws of the National Union and the Union. A copy of such Constitution and By-Laws, and any changes thereto, shall be transmitted to the Company.
