Subproject 4 Sample Clauses

Subproject 4. Theoretical Neuroscience SP4 is an HBP Neuroscience SP. Its Operational Objectives are: • Develop a multi-scale theory of the brain, creating a synthesis between top-down and data- driven bottom-up approaches. • Unify theories of learning, memory, attention and goal-oriented behaviour, gaining insights into the way function emerges from structure, and identifying the data and computing principles required to model specific brain functions in neuromorphic computing systems. • Identify bridges linking the multiple temporal and spatial scales implicated in brain activity and in the signals captured by imaging and other technologies. • Understand complex cognitive functions such as spatial navigation, recursion, and symbolic processing. • Continue operating the European Institute for Theoretical Neuroscience (EITN), which was set up during the Ramp-Up Phase, to serve as an incubator of ideas, where independent neuroscientists following different approaches can work together to understand the fundamental computational principles underlying brain function and to work towards a unifying theory. These objectives will be pursued throughout the whole duration of the Project. SP4 will have with strong links to the neuroscience SPs (SP1, SP2 and SP3), and Platforms (providing models and coding principles). In particular, SP4 models will be conceived in a form compatible with the Neuromorphic Computing Platform. They will also be made publically available. Subproject 4. Expansion of small and medium-sized enterprise financing in Guangxi. The subproject aims to onlend funds to SMEs through a financial intermediary, the Guangxi Branch of Bank of Communications (BOCOM). The financial sustainability and viability of this subproject is assured by (i) the creation of eligibility criteria for sub-loans, requiring financial viability and sustainability as determining criteria; (ii) assessment of BOCOM’s financial statements; and (iii) GGZAR overall support. The GGZAR has assured coverage of all repayment risks for the underlying SME sub-loans at the GGZAR level rather than the BOCOM level, which is entrusted with the role of pipeline origination and management of sub-loans. Hence, financial sustainability analysis at the tier 1 GGZAR level included debt repayment projections for this subproject. A detailed assessment of BOCOM has shown (i) a very strong franchise as the country’s fifth largest bank by assets; (ii) total assets of $1,148,549 million;

  • Project Completion Date It is agreed between the Parties that the Project Completion Date is <END DATE, YEAR>. If the Project is not completed by such date then, subject to an amendment agreed to between the Parties, Alberta Innovates may elect to terminate this Investment Agreement. In such event, Alberta Innovates will notify the Applicant of its decision to terminate as soon as reasonably practical and shall advise the Applicant of the effective date of termination. Alberta Innovates will have no liability or obligation to reimburse the Applicant for any Project Costs incurred after the effective date of termination and may require the Applicant to return any portions of the Investment which were spent on Ineligible Expenses. Additionally, any portion of the Investment not used and accounted for in accordance with this Agreement as of the Project Completion Date or earlier termination is repayable by the Applicant to AI at AI’s request.

  • Project Cost Overruns In the event that the Recipient determines that the moneys granted pursuant to Section II hereof, together with the Local Subdivision Contribution, are insufficient to pay in full the costs of the Project, the Recipient may make a request for supplemental assistance to its District Committee. The Recipient must demonstrate that such funding is necessary for the completion of the Project and the cost overrun was the result of circumstances beyond the Recipient's control, that it could not have been avoided with the exercise of due care, and that such circumstances could not have been anticipated at the time of the Recipient's initial application. Should the District Committee approve such request the action shall be recorded in the District Committee's official meeting minutes and provided to the OPWC Director for the execution of an amendment to this Agreement.

  • Project Construction Budget The project construction cost allowance specifically stated in writing as the ‘revised’ or ‘current’ ‘Project Construction Budget’ by the Trustees at each applicable phase of plan development.

  • Project Completion Report At the completion of construction and once a Project is placed in service, the Subrecipient must submit a Project Completion Report that includes the total number of units built and leased, affordable units built and leased, DR-MHP units built and leased, an accomplishment narrative, and the tenants names, demographics and income for each DR-MHP unit.

  • Project Completion Part 1 – Material Completion

Verify that items on punch lists have been completed successfully assist COUNTY Project Manager or designee to determine completion date and coordinate project close out.

  • Project Scope The physical scope of the Project shall be limited to only those capital improvements as described in Appendix A of this Agreement. In the event that circumstances require a change in such physical scope, the change must be approved by the District Committee, recorded in the District Committee's official meeting minutes, and provided to the OPWC Director for the execution of an amendment to this Agreement.

  • Project/Milestones Taxpayer develops and manufactures various products for use in the defense, aerospace and security industries. In consideration for the Credit, Taxpayer agrees to expand its operations at various locations throughout California, including El Segundo, Redondo Beach, Palmdale, Sunnyvale, Woodland Hills, Azusa and Rancho Xxxxxxxx. As part of its expansion, Taxpayer will invest in manufacturing equipment, computer and electrical equipment and make tenant improvements to the above facilities.
