Safety Shoes/Glasses. During the term of this Agreement, the City shall pay to all unit employees regularly engaged in physical labor twohundred ($200.00) dollars per fiscal year toward each pair of safety shoes purchased. Proof of purchase is required. The safety shoes must then be worn during all working hours where there is a need for safety shoes. Amounts not spent in any fiscal year may be carried forward to the next fiscal year, but shall not exceed twohundred ($200) dollars (for a total of $400). During the term of this Agreement, all unit employees who wear prescription glasses on a regular basis and perform duties that require the use of safety glasses, shall be eligible for reimbursement of up to fourhundred ($400.00) dollars once every two years for prescription safety glasses purchased. Proof of purchase is required. Such safety glasses must then be worn during all working hours where there is a need for safety glasses. Amounts not spent in any fiscal year may be carried forward to the next fiscal year, but shall not exceed fourhundred ($400) dollars (for a total of $800). With the approval of the manager, employees may be authorized to obtain a second pair of safety shoes or safety prescription glasses at the same value if damaged in the line of duty.
Safety Shoes/Glasses. (All Employees) Safety equipment required by law will be paid for by the school district. The Employer will reimburse employees up to $150.00 per school year for the purchase of safety shoes which shall be worn on duty. A higher value may be set by the Employer after meeting and conferring with the Union. Safety shoes will be purchased once per year, except in unusual circumstances, and at the discretion of management, exceptions may be made to purchase an additional pair of safety shoes.
Safety Shoes/Glasses. The Employer will provide reimbursement up to a maximum of three hundred dollars ($300) over the life of this Agreement for each employee in the engineering department toward the purchase of approved clothing and/or safety shoes.

  • Safety Shoes 3901 Employees who are required to wear steel-toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase and/or replacement of these shoes in the first quarter of each year. Any employee out on an authorized leave shall receive payment within thirty days of their return to paid duty. New employees who are required to wear steel- toed safety shoes will receive $200 toward the purchase of shoes in their first paycheck; for employees hired on or after December 1, he/she shall not receive an additional $200 in the following February.

  • Safety Glasses 10.3.1 Where a teacher is considered to be working in an “eye danger” area, the teacher shall receive a personal issue of standard neutral safety glasses which shall remain the property of the employer.

  • Prescription Safety Glasses Prescription safety glasses will be furnished by the employer. The employer retains the authority to establish reasonable rules and procedures regarding frequency of issue, replacement of damaged glasses, limits on reimbursement costs and coordination with the employer's vision plan.

  • Safety Footwear 1. The State will provide employees in the classifications listed in Section 7 below, and employees who are currently required to wear safety footwear by Department Work Rules, an allowance of one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00) for replacement of safety footwear.

  • Safety Boots Each employee, after 3 months’ continuous service, will be reimbursed (on production of a receipt), the cost of one pair of safety boots (approved by the employer), in each year, to a maximum of $110.00. Wet Weather All protective clothing such as wet weather jackets, safety helmets, welding jackets, welding xxxxxxx, welding gauntlets, rubber boots, etc, (which remain the property of the Company), will be supplied on all occasions deemed necessary.

  • Prescription Glasses This plan covers prescription glasses as follows: • Frames - one (1) collection frame per plan year; • Lenses - one (1) pair of glass or plastic collection lenses per plan year. This includes single vision, bifocal, trifocal, lenticular, and standard progressive lenses. This plan covers the following lens treatments: • UV treatment; • tint (fashion, gradient, and glass-grey); • standard plastic scratch coating; • standard polycarbonate; and • photocromatic/transitions plastic. Contact Lenses (in lieu of prescription glasses) This plan covers one (1) supply of contact lenses as follows: • conventional contact lenses - one (1) pair per plan year from a selection of provider designated contact lenses; or • extended wear disposable lenses - up to a 6-month supply of monthly or two- week single vision spherical or toric disposable contact lenses per plan year; or • daily wear disposable lenses - up to a 3-month supply of daily single vision spherical disposable contact lenses per plan year. This plan also covers the evaluation, fitting, or follow-up care related to contact lenses. This plan covers additional contact lenses if your prescribing network provider submits a verification form, with the regular claim form, verifying that you have one of the following conditions: • anisometropia of 3D in meridian powers; • high ametropia exceeding -10D or +10D in meridian powers; • keratoconus when the member’s vision is not correctable to 20/25 in either or both eyes using standard spectacle lenses; and • vision improvement for members whose vision can be corrected two lines of improvement on the visual acuity chart when compared to the best corrected standard spectacle lenses.

  • Safety Equipment Should the employment duties of an employee in the bargaining unit require use of any equipment or gear to insure the safety of the employee or others, the District agrees to furnish such equipment or gear.

  • Safety Shoe Allowance For each unit member required by the City to wear safety shoes, the City shall provide a voucher from the City-designated department for up to one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) annually toward the cost of acquiring one pair of safety shoes through the City vendor.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.
