SAFETY AND CLEAN-UP. At all times during the performance of Tenant's Work, Tenant shall maintain the area in and about the Building and the Premises in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Tenant shall comply fully with all laws, orders, citations, rules, regulations, standards and statutes affecting or relating to occupational health and safety, the handling and storage of hazardous materials, accident prevention, safety equipment and practices including but not limited to any safety rules and regulations of Landlord that are generally applicable to the Building. Tenant shall conduct inspections to determine that safe working conditions and equipment exist and accepts sole responsibility for providing a safe place to work for its contractors, subcontractors and employees during the performance of Tenant's Work. Upon completion of Tenant's Work, Tenant shall remove from the work site all hazardous materials, temporary structures, debris and waste incident to Tenant's Work.

SAFETY AND CLEAN-UP. 6.1 Contractor shall take necessary safety and other precautions to protect property and persons from damage, injury or illness arising out of the performance of the Work. Contractor shall comply strictly with local, municipal, provincial, state and national laws, orders, and regulations pertaining to health or safety which are applicable to Contractor or to the Work, including without limitation the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (84 U.S. Statutes 1590), as amended, and any state plans approved thereunder and regulations thereunder, to the extent applicable. At all times while any of Contractor’s employees, agents or subcontractors are working on the ACP Project, Contractor shall be solely responsible for providing them with a safe place of employment, and Contractor shall inspect the places where its employees, agents or subcontractors are going to be working and shall promptly take action to correct conditions which are or may become an unsafe place of employment for them. SAFETY AND CLEAN-UP. Contractor acknowledges that Owners will continue to occupy and must maintain continuous operations at the Project site. It is critical that these operations shall not suffer any significant interference, including, without limitation, unreasonable noise, dust, odor, or vibration. Contractor shall perform the Work and limit its use of the Project site in such a manner as to minimize any interference with use of the Project site. Contractor shall be liable for all costs for all claims related to dust, mud, noise, odor, vibration, or windblown materials attributed to the Work hereunder.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Matters (a) The Company has complied and is in compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety Requirements.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Laws There does not exist any violation by the Borrower or any Subsidiary of any applicable federal, state or local law, rule or regulation or order of any government, governmental department, board, agency or other instrumentality relating to environmental, pollution, health or safety matters which will or threatens to impose a material liability on the Borrower or a Subsidiary or which would require a material expenditure by the Borrower or such Subsidiary to cure. Neither the Borrower nor any Subsidiary has received any notice to the effect that any part of its operations or properties is not in material compliance with any such law, rule, regulation or order or notice that it or its property is the subject of any governmental investigation evaluating whether any remedial action is needed to respond to any release of any toxic or hazardous waste or substance into the environment, the consequences of which non-compliance or remedial action could constitute an Adverse Event.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety i. Environment, Health and Safety Performance. Seller acknowledges and accepts full and sole responsibility to maintain an environment, health and safety management system ("EMS") appropriate for its business throughout the performance of this Contract. Buyer expects that Seller’s EMS shall promote health and safety, environmental stewardship, and pollution prevention by appropriate source reduction strategies. Seller shall convey the requirement of this clause to its suppliers. Seller shall not deliver goods that contain asbestos mineral fibers.

  • SAFETY AND HEALTH 20.1 The Employer, employee and Union have a significant responsibility for workplace safety and health.

  • Environmental Regulations The Contractor shall conduct activities in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and other requirements of the Contract relating to the environment and its protection at all times. Unless otherwise specifically determined, the Owner is responsible for obtaining and maintaining permits related to stormwater run-off. The Contractor shall conduct operations consistent with stormwater run-off permit conditions. Contractor is responsible for all items it brings to the Site, including hazardous materials, and all such items brought to the Site by its Subcontractors and suppliers, or by other entities subject to direction of the Contractor. The Contractor shall not incorporate hazardous materials into the Work without prior approval of Owner, and shall provide an affidavit attesting to such in association with the request for the Substantial Completion Inspection.

  • Waste and Nuisance The Lessee shall not commit, or suffer to be committed, any waste on the leased premises, nor shall he maintain, commit, or permit the maintenance or commission of any nuisance on the leased premises.
