Requirement for Medical Certificate. Paid sick allowance will be made only for absence from work because of illness or injury. For absence of three (3) consecutive days or more, the employee may be required to provide a certificate from a registered medical doctor stating that the employee has been under care and unable to carry out his or her duties. After three (3) absences of any duration in the designatedsick days” year, which absences have not been the subject of medical certification, the employee may be required to provide such medical certification for future absences of any duration.

Requirement for Medical Certificate. 1. Any member on sick leave due to an on-duty injury will be required to obtain a release from the City's assigned Worker's Camp physician.
Requirement for Medical Certificate. An Employee who is absent for five (5) consecutive workdays or more, may be required to provide a medical certificate. Employees shall advise the Employer at the beginning of or prior to the first (1st) day of any such absence, whenever possible. This sick leave will be considered short-term sick leave.
