Rehabilitation provisions. To encourage disabled employees to return to work where possible, this plan has an added extension of benefits when the employee engages in rehabilitative employment. Rehabilitative employment means any occupation or employment for wage or profit engaged in by the employee while meeting the definition of total disability. Where, following a period of total disability, an employee engages in rehabilitative employment the amount of benefit will be equal to the benefit payable in accordance with the schedule reduced either:

Rehabilitation provisions. If you return to work on a rehabilitation employment basis, the plan will continue your regular monthly benefit, less 80% of the basic earnings that you receive from such employment. Rehabilitative benefits will continue for an additional twenty-four months. Rehabilitative Employment means any occupation or employment for which you are reasonably suited by training, education, or experience. The primary purpose of this clause is to enable you to return to work on a part-time basis or at a lower rated job without disability payments ceasing.
