Pro Rata of Allowance. Where an employee is not assigned to a position on a full-time basis, then the allowance or applicable rate of pay for that position will be prorated for the amount of time the employee is assigned, on a daily basis, to that position. Part time teachers who participate in professional development activities, school opening administration day, and interviews during the instructional school day when requested by the Principal and approved by the Superintendent shall receive per diem or portion thereof for time spent over and above their regularly scheduled teaching time during the instructional school day. Time in lieu of compensation may be given if mutually agreed upon between the teacher and the Principal.

Vacation credits may be taken in one (1) minute increments but may not be taken during the first six (6) months of employment (not necessarily synonymous with probationary status) except where sick leave has been exhausted; and none shall be allowed in excess of actual accrual at the time vacation is taken.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.
