Pregnancy and/or Sample Clauses

Pregnancy and/or. Parental Leave shall be granted in accordance with the provisions of The Employment Standards Act. During such leave seniority shall continue to accrue. The employee shall continue to accumulate vacation entitlement during the length of the Pregnancy and/or Parental Leave. All other benefits not addressed in the Collective Agreement shall be in compliance with the Employment Standards Act. Adoption Leave shall be considered Parental Leave as outlined in the Employment Standards Act.

Pregnancy and/or parental leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, except where amended in this provision.
Pregnancy and/or. Parental Leave shall be in accordance with the Employment Standards Act, 2000 and members may take such leave for a statutory recognized period of up to 52 weeks (17 weeks pregnancy; 35 weeks parental). Members who are in receipt of Employment Insurance benefits during such leave are entitled to benefits provided under this Article on the following basis:
Pregnancy and/or. Parental leave will be granted in accordance with the criteria and provisions of the Employment Standards Act of Ontario.
Pregnancy and/or parental leave benefits as described above shall continue during a period when, but for being on pregnancy and/or parental leave, the employee would otherwise have been at work. For the purposes of calculating pregnancy and/or parental leave benefits the employee’s regular weekly earnings shall be determined by multiplying her regular hourly rate times her normal weekly hours.

  • Pregnancy and Maternity Services This plan covers physician services and the services of a licensed midwife for prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care. The first office visit to diagnose a pregnancy is not included in prenatal services. This plan covers hospital services for mother and newborn child for at least forty-eight

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Health and Safety Training Regular employees and auxiliary employees in posted positions shall participate in a Health and Safety Training session once in a calendar year. The training program offered by the Employer must be approved by the joint Health and Safety Committee prior to such training commencing. Training will be provided during normal work hours and employees shall suffer no loss of pay or benefits.

  • Pregnancy Sick Leave Leave for illness of a Nurse arising out of or associated with a Nurse’s pregnancy prior to the commencement of, or the ending of, pregnancy leave granted in accordance with Article 13.00, may be granted sick leave in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement.

  • Child Safety Never leave a child unsupervised near a pool, not even for a second. During social gatherings at or near the pool, appoint a designated adult to protect young children from pool accidents. Children must be watched closely while swimming. Do not use floatation devices as a substitute for supervision. Toys can entice young children into the pool area. When not in use, clear the pool area of all toys.

  • Pregnancy This agreement can be cancelled if you become pregnant upon the appropriate written proof being given. Please note – ANY Cancellation for the above reasons will not be effected until the appropriate proof is provided and received (in writing or via email) by Harlands or the club.

  • Pregnancy/Birth Allowance (a) A Nurse entitled to pregnancy leave under the provisions of this Agreement, who provides the Employer with proof that she has applied for, and is eligible to receive employment insurance (E.I.) benefits pursuant to Section 22, Employment Insurance Act, S.C. 1996, c.23, shall be paid an allowance in accordance with the Supplementary Employment Benefit (S.E.B.).
