Child Safety definition

Child Safety means matters related to HCA’s duty of care to children in its care, protecting all children from abuse or harm, managing the direct or inadvertent risk of child abuse or harm, taking steps to prevent the occurrence or reduce the occurrence of child abuse or harm, providing support to a child at risk of child abuse or harm, and responding to incidents or allegations of child abuse or harm.
