Pledge Against Coercion. The parties agree that there shall be no interference with the rights of employees to become members of the Union, and there shall be no discrimination, interference, restraint, or coercion against any employees because of Union membership, or lack of Union membership, or because of any activity by an employee in an official capacity on behalf of the Union.

Pledge Against Coercion. 4.1.1 The Employer will notify the Union of any new bargaining unit employees hired and agrees that this Agreement shall apply equally to all employees.   • CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN In accordance with RCW 28A.400.330, employees, agents, and contractors of the NWESD and District are prohibited from working at a public school if they have or may have contact with children at a public school during the course of their employment and have pleaded guilty to or been convicted of the crimes identified in RCW 28A.400.322. Any failure to comply with this section shall be grounds for the District immediately terminating the contract.

The principal or designee shall investigate the complaint and attempt to resolve the complaint informally if appropriate.
