Personal Leave Allotment. At the beginning of every school year each bargaining unit member having served two (2) years in the district, shall be credited with two (2) days to be used for the bargaining unit member’s personal leave allotment. First and second year bargaining unit members shall be credited with one (1) day each year. Personal business days may be used for any purpose at the discretion of the bargaining unit member. A bargaining unit member planning to use a personal business day(s) shall notify his/her principal at least one day in advance, except in cases of emergency. Personal business days shall be available for the practice of individual religious preferences. No more than twenty (20) percent of the bargaining unit members shall be permitted the use of personal leave days on the same date. Each teacher shall be entitled to an accumulation of the unused portion of each year's personal leave, which shall be available in future years, up to and including five (5) days. At no time shall bargaining unit members be credited with more than five (5) personal business days.

  • Personal Leave Day A. An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal leave day each fiscal year during the life of this Agreement if the employee has been continuously employed for more than four (4) months.

  • Personal Leave of Absence The Administrator may grant a request for leave of absence for personal reasons without pay provided that he receives at least one (1) month's clear notice, in writing, unless impossible, and provided that such leave may be arranged without undue inconvenience to the normal operations of the Nursing Home. Employees when applying for such leave shall indicate the proposed date of departure and return. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.
