PERA Membership. Unless exempted by PERA, all employees at DSST shall be members of the Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association (“PERA”) and subject to its requirements. DSST shall be responsible for the cost of the School District's/employer's respective share of any required contributions, (including required employer contributions to 401k, 403b or similar tax deferred compensation plans) and, unless purchased from the School District, all necessary administration of the PERA program, by dealing directly with PERA.

TCA further recognizes that under state law, only public employers assigned to the municipal division may terminate their association with PERA, and that the District and TCA are in the school division.

Revised: October 14, 2002 Adopted: October 14, 2002 Effective: July 1, 2002 EARLY SEPARATION AGREEMENT, Memorandum of Understanding Cherry Creek School District is offering certified employees who have between 15 and 30 uninterrupted years of service the opportunity to be considered for an optional Early Separation Agreement (ESA). Nothing in this ESA plan shall be construed to create an employee right or entitlement to this or any separation incentive. This plan sets out the arrangement for an optional incentive for certain eligible employees to take early separation from Cherry Creek School District effective June 30, 2021.

Monthly reports shall be made using the online audit tool, commonly referred to as “Pay Audit.” IVBE subcontractor payments shall also be reported to IDOA as reasonably requested and in a format to be determined by IDOA.
