Non-Work Days. The following shall be non-work days: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, the Friday before Easter, and the Monday after Easter.

Non-Work Days. 2.1 Non-work days shall consist of all other remaining days beyond the contracted workdays and are eligible to be used as vacation days and flexible days [with approval of immediate supervisor].
Non-Work Days. The Superintendent shall have the following designated as non- work days: New Year’s Eve Day, New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day, Washington’s Birthday, Patriot’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. Good Friday shall be a non-work day as long as it remains a non- work day. If Christmas occurs on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday, the previous day will be a non-work day, and if Christmas falls on a Monday or Thursday, the following day will be a non-work day. If Christmas or the Fourth of July occurs on Sunday, the ensuing Monday will be a non-work day.
Non-Work Days. 10.15.1 For any days designated by the District as ‘non-work’ days, employees who work less than 12 months are not required to utilize other paid leave for that day. They are non-paid, non-work days for those employees. Employees who work 12 months are required to work on those days, unless they utilize other paid, approved leave.

  • Work Days The work day shall consist of an assigned shift within twenty-four (24) consecutive hours commencing at 12:01 a.m. Whenever practicable and consistent with program needs, employees shall work on five (5) consecutive working days separated by two (2) consecutive days off. Significant or major changes in methods of scheduling shall be first discussed with the Union before changes are made.

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District. Employees who actually work more than forty (40) hours per week will receive overtime pay (time-and-a-half).

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.

  • Normal Work Day The normal work day shall be eight (8) hours and the normal work week shall be forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday, provided however that nothing herein shall be construed as guaranteeing any EMPLOYEE eight (8) hours of work per day or forty (40) hours per week.
