Leaving the Building. Employees may leave their assignments during the time encompassed by the employee’s workday upon receipt of permission from their principal, their supervisor, or the Employer’s appointed designee.

Leaving the Building. Before leaving the building for any reason during the work day, the employee shall obtain the prior approval of the appropriate administrator/designee whose approval will not be unreasonably withheld.

Additionally, such absence shall not interfere with the certificated employee’s professional responsibilities for individual assistance to students or parent-teacher conferences, and the certificated employee shall be required to notify the immediate supervisor, or in his/her absence, his/her designee, prior to leaving the building.
Leaving the Building. Unit members may leave the building during planning periods for professional reasons with the knowledge of the principal or designee. Unit members may leave the building during lunch with the knowledge of the principal or designee.
Leaving the Building. Teachers will be permitted to leave the building when a warranted need has been addressed to the Superintendent or building administrator and permission has been granted. A teacher is responsible for securing coverage for his/her classes after approval has been granted from Administration.
Leaving the Building. 1 a. During their duty-free lunch, teachers may leave the building by signing out noting the time that they shall return.
1 b. During their preparation periods, teachers may leave the building only for educational purposes or with the permission of the building principal. The teacher shall sign out and note the time that the teacher shall return.
Leaving the Building. Other than during the lunch period, employees may leave the building during working hours only with the approval of their immediate supervisors. On regularly scheduled early release days and non-attendance days for students, employees may leave work early without pay upon request and with supervisor approval.
