Field Trips. Orange COUNTY funds may not be used to support any overnight and/or out of Central Florida travel, unless approved by the COUNTY’S Manager of the CCC or designee in advance. The AGENCY must have on file for field trip(s) that each participant, adult or minor, must have a signed release of liability form releasing the COUNTY from any liability. If the participant is a minor, the release must be signed by a parent/guardian. Central Florida is defined as Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Lake, Polk, and Volusia Counties.
Field Trips. It is not the policy, when permission has been granted, to require teachers to use sick or personal leave when they take students on field trips.
Field Trips. In addition to daily transportation services, SSAS may submit requests for field trip buses. Buses are available for field trips from 9:30am to 1:00pm. All field trip buses will be billed directly by the School Board to SSAS on a monthly basis with payment due within fifteen days of billing. The costs for field trips will be $2.60 per mile plus $23.25 per hour, per driver, minimum 3 hours. Requests for field trip services must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the event.
Field Trips. The District shall provide transportation and necessary substitutes for any approved field trips. When funds for field trip substitutes are not available, teachers may provide unpaid voluntary in-house coverage in lieu of substitutes. Approval for field trips will be given in writing.
Field Trips. 1. A field trip shall be defined as any educational activity which requires students and/or faculty members to leave the campus.

Students may be denied the privilege of participating in field trips, social and/or extra-curricular activities if said student(s) have been disruptive, violate the student code of conduct or fail to conform with school rules and regulations. The teacher shall make this initial decision and inform the affected student and the principal/designee as to the reason for the denial of the privilege. If the teacher's principal overrules this decision, the teacher may appeal, in writing, to his/her Chief School Performance & Accountability Officer within two (2) work days of the principal's decision. The Chief School Performance & Accountability Officer will meet with the affected teacher, a representative of their choice, and the principal. The Chief School Performance & Accountability Officer shall issue a final and binding decision, in writing, within two (2) work days of the meeting. The Chief School Performance & Accountability Officer’s decision is exempt from the provisions of Article Thirty-Four of this Agreement.
Field Trips. The parties agree to support and encourage full participation in these and similar learning activities. Appendix K SABBATICAL LEAVE PROMISSORY NOTE I agree to the terms of the United Faculty of Ohlone Contract with the District in regards to Sabbatical Leave (Section 15.11). If I do not return to fulfill my duties as outlined in the contract. I promise to repay to Ohlone Community College District ("Employer") the total amount of the monies which are paid by Employer to me during the period of my sabbatical leave.
