National Legislation. National Legislation. The Netherlands is signatory to many international conventions such as UNCLOS, the HNS-protocol and MARPOL. International regulations have been implemented in national law. With regard to maritime incidents the most important regulation is the BON Act, which stands for Response to Accidents North Sea. The powers given to authorities in this act are quite stringent and include the power to take over command of a vessel. As well as this Act, the Netherlands uses the Wrecks Act in cases where ships sink or lose cargo inside the 12 miles zone.
National Legislation. The Parties shall apply their legislation on unfair international trade practices in accordance with the procedures established in the normative instruments referred to in Article 7-03 and shall conduct investigations through their respective competent authorities.
National Legislation. In addition to this Contract, the Act on Verification and Notification of Origin of Electricity in force (1129/2003), the Governmental Decree on notification of origin of electricity in force (417/2013) as well as the potential, applicable directions and instructions given by the authorities shall be applied when issuing the GOs. For example the Guarantee of Origin is defined in the Sections 1 and 2 of the above mentioned Decree in more detailed than in the Paragraph 1 "Definitions" in the Contract. For avoidance of doubts it is stated that Hub Participant adheres the detailed definition of the Act.
National Legislation. 1. The activities of European Union fishing vessels operating in the waters of Cape Verde under this Protocol shall be governed by the legislation in force in Cape Verde, in particular the provisions of the Cape Verdean fisheries resources management plan, unless the Fisheries Partnership Agreement, this Protocol and its Annex and appendices provide otherwise.
